You should be able to straighten that piece of armour. The armour plates on mine were a little crooked out of the box but they can be tweeked and straightened a little.

After seeing the test shot for the FT Reflector, I'm so glad I went with the Maketoys version. I agree with thecorsair about the green chests and I also really don't like their ankle tilt...they look a bit like they have boxes on their feet. They look way too skinny to me aswell.
