This is true, and flesh tones are some of the hardest things to paint. However I'd imagine that if one does not wish to do it oneself, most collectors here have the wherewithal to pay to have someone more experienced do it. I'm not commissioning others myself out of sheer cheapness.

Why delay when sculpts like these are out there: Just need painting. Which reminds me, I need to finish Fordo and get busy with Mayday. I've just had so much going on here lately.

A good point, one which has troubled me without my clarifying it to myself. WTF is Plagueis doing lurking around a CAVE? Do you think you'd see Palpatine slumming in his acolyte's cave?! Hardly! Way too much imperious pride. This just seems really out of character to me.

Oh, they absolutely could. What I'm saying is that imo we're unlikely to get an "Acolyte" Plagueis when this is the total of what we've seen of the costume: They'll want to be more exact than just this, I think. But hey, I could be wrong.
