    1/6 Hot Toys MMS699 & MMS700 ROTJ Darth Vader

While I'm a stickler for accuracy myself, I'd say that's somewhere at the bottom of the list of upgrades, because it's hardly noticeable (I don't have a picture at hand, sorry). I'd rather invest that money into a new cape, which will have a much bigger impact on his appearance.

InArt: The Lord of the Rings - Gandalf 1:6

    Great pose! Indeed very lifelike.

1/6 SSC - A Nightmare on Elm Street: Freddy Krueger Collectible Figure

The same happened to mine a few years ago. It wasn't as bad as yours yet, but I decided to strip the paint completely to do a repaint. Then the irretans sculpt came along and this one could just stay in the parts box.

    1/6 Hot Toys MMS699 & MMS700 ROTJ Darth Vader

Ooh I forgot about that chestbox being attached to the vest. That complicates things. Relative to the chest box and shoulder armor, the belt position looks good now. But if those were positioned higher, I think the belt would have to be a bit higher as well. I find it quite difficult to get...

    1/6 Hot Toys MMS699 & MMS700 ROTJ Darth Vader

To be fair, I'm pretty sure that ESB shot is Bob Anderson and not Dave Prowse, so I wouldn't use it as a reference for proportions. But yeah, unless Disney mandates these wrong proportions, I would expect that the body would be the biggest improvement InArt would make. I look at that ESB helmet...

    1/6 Hot Toys MMS699 & MMS700 ROTJ Darth Vader

Great comparison shots, Wor-Gar. Amazing how bad the ESB sculpt looks in comparison. His whole face is drooping to the front, creating a weird devastated expression. The ROTJ definitely looks like HT's best Vader sculpt to date. The biggest point of improvement IMO is the inside of the mouth...

    Heath Ledger Joker Customs

Congrats, man. That turned out great. I think that out of all Ledger sculpts, this one is my favorite. It has a lot of attitude, but is versatile enough for a variety of poses. I can see why HT chose it.

    Agonistes' Star Wars customs

Today I started one of the most daunting tasks: sculpting the tusk tubes. Getting the right thickness and asymmetrical angles is a challenge. I decided to do the bottom tubes first, and after they have dried, add the top ones. That should make it easier to sculpt the transition between them...

Hot Toys ESB FETT tips tricks and other cool mods

Unfortunately, no. I don't have a new helmet yet, and being dependent on outside sources (I don't have any 3D experience, nor do I have a 3D printer) just makes me drag my feet and focus on other projects instead. With the limited time I have to work on my customs, I also found that a singular...

Wow, they really nailed the eyes on Neeson. And Freeman looks photorealistic!

1/6 Batman: TAS figures coming from Mondo...

It's great that after years of mostly getting these modern hulk-like Banes, we're finally getting the early 90s more "realistic" Knightfall physique representations.

Hot Toys DX46: Terminator 2: Judgment Day - T-800 (Battle Damaged Version 2.0)

Thanks guys! @Nick D I'm looking forward to seeing your display once you have it set up. It's the white light kit from Luke light. They made the custom length for the 1:4 shelves on request. https://www.thelukelight.com/products/white-tone-usb-light-kit-for-detolf-cabinet That's what 1:12 is...

    1/6 Hot Toys MMS699 & MMS700 ROTJ Darth Vader

That ESB image has always confused me in regards to the shoulder bells, as they look so different than usual. From everything I've encountered during my research into Vader's costume, there is no difference between the ESB and ROTJ shoulder bells. The difference in appearance comes from them...

Hot Toys DX46: Terminator 2: Judgment Day - T-800 (Battle Damaged Version 2.0)

1:6 is also my preferred scale. I find that it's the right balance for me between size (how much space it takes up), details it can hold, and poseability. Once you go smaller, fabric gets too much out of scale and it gets hard to get the right proportions. Once you go larger, poseability becomes...

HOT TOYS QS 1/4 Darth Vader (pic courtesy Seanxlong)

Rise customs told me this: I spent about 20 min yesterday with different pliers trying to remove the pegs, but wasn't able to. I'm going to try one more time with a hairdryer, but if that doesn't work, I'm probably also keeping the HT boots on for now. And if it starts flaking, then I can...

Hot Toys DX46: Terminator 2: Judgment Day - T-800 (Battle Damaged Version 2.0)

I currently have a custom 1:6 ESB/ROTJ Vader (made before I cared/knew about the differences between those two) and the 1:4 that I'm converting to be a proper ESB. I'll most likely sell the 1:6 once the 1:4 is done. I do have a full set of 3D printed ANH parts based on scanned lineage pieces...

Hot Toys DX46: Terminator 2: Judgment Day - T-800 (Battle Damaged Version 2.0)

The T2 T-800 is one of those rare instances for me where I love the various looks throughout the movie so much that I have/had multiple ones in my collection. My favorite look used to be the BD look post Dyson/beginning of the steel mill. A lot of damage, including his face, but still both eyes...

    InArt: 1/6 Superman (Cavill)

Does anybody here have Superman in hand and can measure him in cm? It looks like he's a bit too tall, but compared to most characters in that compilation, he doesn't look freakishly huge to me. While Cavill is 185cm in real life, that's maybe 188cm in costume/with boots. Add some movie magic to...

    Agonistes' Star Wars customs

I was hoping to be done after today's priming session so that I could move on to sculpting the tusk tubes, but there are still some small irregularities here and there that I'll have to sand. But I was looking forward to taking a video of this, so I'll go ahead and post this anyway. The teeth...
