InArt: The Lord of the Rings - Nazgul 1:6

The biggest flaw of the Asmus Nazgul, and InArt flat out repeats the same mistake. I'm hoping/assuming they fix this in one of their next iterations, but to me that makes it seem like somebody didn't do their homework.

InArt: The Lord of the Rings - Nazgul 1:6

A horse for my Nazgul is on my list of "figures I might want in the future", but oddly this is not doing much for me right now. I'll wait for more shots in the future.

    InArt Phoenix Joker 1/6

It's really amazing to see how the floodgates have been opened. How many companies are suddenly doing Phoenix Joker now? Hot toys, McFarlane, Mafex... anybody else?

Hot Toys 1992 Batman Returns 2.0

Yeah good call. Guess I have to make a decision this weekend.

Hot Toys 1992 Batman Returns 2.0

I've been thinking of selling my Returns Batman for the past few weeks. Now I regret not doing it earlier. :lol

Hot Toys DX46: Terminator 2: Judgment Day - T-800 (Battle Damaged Version 2.0)

This is a very disappointing start to the 2024/2025 1/6 Terminator war... Though not very surprising I guess. It is HT after all, who often cares more about putting any product out there, rather than an actually improved one.

Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace - 1/6th scale Darth Maul™ Collectible Figure (25th anniversary)

This shot reminds me that while definitely an upgrade to the existing, unfortunately this still won't be the ultimate 1:6 Maul. The yellow iris is still not large/pronounced enough and the pupil still too large. My quest for more accurate eyes continues (while still being very happy that I can...

Mafex DC Universe figure thread including ( all genre based including movie, comic )

Thanks! I don't have a particularly fancy set-up, but I basically have a routine for taking pictures that makes it easy to be consistent. I'm using a Canon 550d (Rebel T2i in the US) with a 50 mm lens. I've had the camera for over 10 years, but it still serves its purpose. When taking shots, I...

Mafex DC Universe figure thread including ( all genre based including movie, comic )

Took some better shots of Bane the other day. Still can't quite believe how great he is! He's everything I always wanted out of a Bane figure. I did extend his neck with some putty though to get his proportions just a bit better. My Batman is still in the mail, so I used an old Mattel figure as...

1/6 Hot Toys - Episode II: Attack of The Clones - Padmé Amidala

Great work! And I always enjoy seeing WIP shots.

Mafex DC Universe figure thread including ( all genre based including movie, comic )

I had to pay inflated ebay prices but man, was it worth it! Received him yesterday, and I'm in awe. This is everything I always wanted out of a Bane figure! He's my favorite Batman villain, particularly in the Knightfall look. He was my most desired 1:6 figure, but now that I have this, that...

    Heath Ledger Joker Customs

LOOK AT ME! The one moment where his whole facade breaks and his anger and hatred comes through.

1/6 INART (Queen Studio) - The Dark Knight - Joker Collectible Figure

I don't have any interest in the detonator - I already got one from kit - but I filled in the survey. On the off chance that I win one, I'll give it to someone here on the forum for free. But being in product management myself, I appreciate them doing a user survey. I assume that if they set...

    Heath Ledger Joker Customs

I feel this gets thrown around way too much in this hobby, but this time I have to say it: that first shot could pass for a movie still/real shot of Ledger in make-up! Absolutely amazing.

    Heath Ledger Joker Customs

Do you happen to know what paint or dyes are best to use to paint the hair? I want to try my hand at painting/dyeing the InArt hair, but I don't know yet where to start.

1/6 INART (Queen Studio) - The Dark Knight - Joker Collectible Figure

I spend some more time restyling the hair a few days ago. My man goal was trying to open up those big batches of hair along the hairline, getting more loose strands to show, and reducing the overall volume. I also removed the back panel completely for now. I didn't have time to thin it out, and...

    Bobs Customs and bits

I love how everything "flows together" into one, and the proportions and your poses make them incredibly lifelike.

    Agonistes' Star Wars customs

Making slow but steady progress. I added the bottom lip/edge of the mouth triangle. And I sculpted some teeth. Not sure I'll actually end up using them - zooming in you can see a lot of imperfections - but I was starting to get stuck in analysis paralysis in how to approach the mouth. So I...

1/6 INART (Queen Studio) - The Dark Knight - Joker Collectible Figure

Nice poses! And your Joker looks great. Mine was in need of a repose as well. Didn't have the time to get my DSLR out, so a phone pic for now.

That looks like a very middle-aged 11 year old.
