Yeah, I love the OT and have the Greedo 1.0 (and the Hasbro Ponda Baba as a surprisingly viable stand-in) so I'm on the fence because of the $280 price tag. I want to support it to get the others made but $600 to upgrade a couple of cantina characters? Oof.

Yes, the original Hammerhead is one of Sideshow's best. It blends in nicely with the more modern figures, so not sure why they didn't do an easy re-issue on that one...

I have a mix of Sideshow and Hot Toys on my shelves and they scale together fine, IMO. Here's their Thrawn with Tarkin and Vader HT...

I sure hope you are right about Yakface. That'd be a day one PO for me. Such a memorable character design and I think the final Kenner figure produced...

Agree and the problem this will present is that I don’t think Chewie will fit in a standard Detolf shelf with it. My ANH Chewie barely fits and those bases are lower profile than this. Doesn’t matter, day one PO for me!

Little fella has been standing in my Detolf for about a decade so if they are loose, A) I can't tell and B) I'm not touching him to find out! :) I don't recall loose joints on their figures in that timeframe. Feels like that came a bit later...

The Sideshow Plo Koon holds up really well, IMO... He is a really cool looking character so no problem if HT decides to do him though...

Every point of sale and fulfillment system I've ever been a part of has a pretty simple FIFO (first in, first out) approach to fulfillment. It almost seems like they would've had to customize theirs to make it random. The same people who built their queuing system, perhaps? :)

Yeah, this was my maiden voyage into the Sideshow queuing system...and apparently theirs as well. I had one browser on one device and was 9000 back when I got in. I had four devices and a total of I think six browsers working for me with Widow and my best point in line was 500ish when I got in...

I finally got tired of storing the boxed up statue and basically did the eBay equivalent of sitting it at the end of the street with a "free" sign on it... :rotfl

I don't know that I consider it a gimmick but it's just something that I don't find enjoyable. I find it distracting and it sometimes gives me a headache...Not the experience I'm looking for :)
