Hot Toys Back to the Future II - 1/6th scale DeLorean Time Machine

OK cool, then seems we must be in the last batch. Oh well I guess in this case it could be for the better now that all improvements seem to have been implemented.

    InArt: 1/6 Superman (Cavill)

It 's basic Youtube-ology. Be negative or go against the trend and get more clicks. It's a pretty common strategy. And it clearly works. People will talk about that and give him more air-time and free advertising. Just ignore him. It's that simple.

    InArt: 1/6 Superman (Cavill)

Howard must really be getting a bit worried at this point. Hot Toys always prided themselves as being the king of head sculpts and hyper-realistic sculpts. But this takes it to a whole other level !!!

    InArt: 1/6 Superman (Cavill)

Any good display should have some decent lighting on the figures. Not too much but enough. So the chrome should bling nicely enough I think.

    Yep whole trinity is planned.

Queen Studios / InArt to do sixth scale figures

Maybe they're thinking we all need to convert to 1/12 scale. Suddenly so much more space !!!

    InArt: 1/6 Superman (Cavill)

I think the point is, are we going for Henry Cavill's on screen body / look for this figure or a human form that looks "natural" ?? For me it's the former. I want screen accurate.

    InArt: 1/6 Superman (Cavill)

Not necessarily. I remember buying a 1/6 body and it came with larger plastic thigh pieces which could snap over the exiting thighs. So it was just a simple plastic moulding piece. So perhaps things like the legs are not so difficult to change. Or they simply modify the pattern for the silver...

    InArt Christopher Reeve Superman/Clark Kent

Haven't seen that, but whatever works and looks good.

    InArt Christopher Reeve Superman/Clark Kent

I just hope they give the Clark Kent figure a shirt with buttons that allow it to be ripped open, with a Superman undersuit top underneath. Not a full suit, but so you can see it.

Now THAT is a damn good idea. I was thinking how am I going to display these DC figures (considering I have the Snyder JL already). That sounds perfect !!!

I'd be totally happy with a Clark like this from JND

Queen Studios / InArt to do sixth scale figures

Yep, here are the pics I posted in the other thread. Pretty clear if you compare the shoulder armour and forearm bracers and of course the fur.

    InArt Thorin Oakenshield 1/6 Figure

They can practice on Thorin, then make the perfect Gimli thereafter.

    InArt Thorin Oakenshield 1/6 Figure

Agreed. I guess they may have thought some Hobbit fans ordered Gandalf, so Thorin also fits with him, as does Aragorn. But I would have liked Legolas as well.
