Same. I had a number at 8:40 in the pre-queue. When the sale started my number didn’t change. It was #3,000+. at 9:00 I refreshed the page on a second computer that wasn’t getting the pre-queue message. That second computer had me in position #1,000+. Neither number changed once the sale...

Artificial scarcity is a ****** business practice. I understand their logic but I can't get behind it. There are more and more companies coming on the 1/6 scene that don't have to resort to those tactics to move their product and turn a profit.

I'll take that over a crotch-grabber stand. Still prefer the idea of magnets, like InArt is doing. Something that doesn't have a presence that detract from the figure. My least favorite by far are the flexible waist-grabbers that are a ***** to pose and have too much presence.

All the more reason to move on from Hot Toys. InArt is putting out better quality and I’ve easily been able to pre-order every figure that I want from them since they’ve gone with an open edition size.

The percentages and the queue don’t even add up. :ROFLMAO: 2,400th in queue when it opens…. 1,400th in queue “we’re 30% sold”…. 1,200 in queue “we’re 50% sold”…. 1,100 in queue “we’re 75% sold”…. 1,050 in queue “they’re gone!”

No matter what they did? Like manufacturing enough to meet demand? That would have been a mess?
