    Jazzinc 1/6 Batman 1989 Batmobile

I would think this month or next. It's usually a reasonable amount of time after we see full samples of the final prototype. That way, anyone who wanted to see something more complete, or was on the fence, effectively gets a "last call". After that comparison picture, I'm really getting...

InArt - The Batman 1/6th Figure

Correct - no issues. I actually did have a nose dive with the magnetic stand. Now that's a real POS ;)

InArt - The Batman 1/6th Figure

I don't use the magnetic stand, so no big deal. In fact, I don't use any stand - it's in a light box. The draw for me was always the figure, not the stand. Not like there were any delays with the batman from HT, right? ;) "They trying something new which will result in failure over time. ...

InArt - The Batman 1/6th Figure

I agree with all of this. It should also be pointed out that Inart continues to demonstrate respect for the customer by actually incorporating feedback. HT appears to make changes here and there, mostly based on competitive pressure, but JND appears to do whatever they want. I always believed...

    Jazzinc 1/6 Batman 1989 Batmobile

It’s not just the bigger size, but the shape is much different. The silhouette forward of the cockpit has much more curvature and the rear is much more pronounced and dramatic. By comparison, the turbine on the HT version also looks ridiculous and incorrectly painted. I never realized how...

JND Studios 1/6 scale Heath Ledger Joker figure

I just noticed those highwaters :ROFLMAO: A bit of white paint at his hairline to look like caked makeup would help hide those awful punched hairs.

For all the fanfare, I see zero visual benefit from the silicone. They should probably focus on making him a little less hairy and get the face paint right. If they can fix that, I might be a buyer. If not, then I’d either go custom or just hang with my Inart and save my money.

JND Studios 1/6 scale Heath Ledger Joker figure

Actually, I’m disappointed because this isn’t a slam dunk. I’ve got the Inart joker, but I was hoping this was going to be better. To me, what I’m getting out of JND’s own campaigns are very mixed messages, including a lack of confidence in their own product. It just seems like they’re making...

JND Studios 1/6 scale Heath Ledger Joker figure

Let’s just call that for the bs it is. They’re already offering a “one time return” for broken hands on the type C version. Clearly, they already know there’s going to be issues with the silicone hands, at least with the fingers. They’ve spent more time discussing their limited liability for...

JND Studios 1/6 scale Heath Ledger Joker figure

I think this would have been better received if they had nailed the core things. What good are two interrogation room sculpts with a purple coat? What good is an additional purple coat for an interrogation room figure on the two figure pack? What good are two dogs when the tire iron is missing...

Looks like they’re reusing the new bane body.

JND Studios 1/6 scale Heath Ledger Joker figure

Somewhere along the line, this figure stopped being fun for me. I don’t know if it’s the crazy pricing, the purchasing restrictions, the paint inaccuracies, or the lack of accessories and hands. I like the idea of the silicone sculpt, but even that’s not yet proven. It shouldn’t be this...

JND Studios 1/6 scale Heath Ledger Joker figure

All identified shortcomings notwithstanding, I see the two sculpt pack as a major PITA. Unless I'm missing something, you have to pretty much remove all of the upper clothes to change out the head. How often are you going to want to go through all of that?

JND Studios 1/6 scale Heath Ledger Joker figure

Well, after seeing that sneak peek, I can honestly say that you called it for me. Not a fan of that paint job. Sort of ruins the look of the silicone I expected when they cake it on like they're blowing out an airbrush line. I guess I was expecting the jail makeup version, which would show a...

Thanks for clarifying @Gipetto0812 (y) Sorry if I misunderstood your point. You are absolutely correct that an issued patent should protect his work, at least from the bigger players with deep pockets. As you pointed out, not so much with the bootleggers. My theory is that Kojun put all...
