It’s been years that I say that 89 and Returns paint jobs are very close. Satin/semi gloss finish. Returns seems darker due to the fact that almost everything is painted in black. And all people have been biased by all the glossy black replicas seen through the years.

After this video… if I were one of those who canceled because of the drama… I think I would have ate my balls… Can’t wait to receive mine!

I think it’s a very cool rendition of the Ecto-1. The only issue is why they over exaggerated the low part of the rear car. It completely ruins the back of the car IMO. I think it’s due to the fact that the car is supposed to convert in 1A version. The Blitzway and even their recent 1894 1/18...

I think people who complain aren’t used to prop makers. I mean, even if Joost is now licensed, he still can be considered as a prop maker IMO. His manufacturing resources are so small compared to big companies like HT. I’ve got several objects from prop makers and they are often way more...

@a-dev Yeah exactly, I painted the rims satin black and the plastic sides of the tires in rubber black. The HT stock silver rims was really toyish IMO and made the car shorter and bulky. The car with the black nose was already a sort of hybrid so matching it with black rims was pretty cool...

I fully understand your point of view. It’s an expensive prop, you have to be satisfied with your purchase. I can hear all the arguments above but, and it’s only my personal opinion, I can’t understand how someone can still claim that the rims should be silver since we know that Joost had access...

Ok my shipping date has moved from October 31 to November 30 on my account. For info I ordered on 2023 February 3 rd.

Received my shipping invoice. 178$. As I’m in Europe, it will be shipped from Netherlands. It’s scheduled for the 1st week of December even if my account says October 31. Not a big deal. It’s gonna be my Christmas present…Can’t wait!

It’s just night and day with the proto. Even the cape is completely different. Hope they won’t mess with Returns 2.0

Hard to compare the 1:8 Toynami as it is based on the RC miniature studio scale Batmobile used in « Descent to mystery » and « Axis Assault » scenes. Where the Jazzinc is based on the Hero car.
