Hot Toys Batman (1989) Batmobile (Reissue)

Seems HT changed a little bit the color and finish of the the side pods adding more blue and silver accents and less weathering. 2013 version (pic of mine) for those who received their, do you confirm?

The nose part is the best IMO. They almost nailed the weathering.

Thanks for the pics! Ok I don’t think I’m gonna order. My ERTL model kit is still more accurate.

You really think they would you really think they could fix something already entered in production? 🤔

    Hot Toys MMS 692 + 693 BATMAN (1989) 1/6 scale Batman 2.0

You shouldn’t cancel IMO. There is so much craziness about this figure that was waited for so long. Especially if you don’t have already the previous figure and, as said previously, don’t want to pay the high price for a 12 years figure. Even if DX09 still gets my preference, I still think the...

    Hot Toys MMS 692 + 693 BATMAN (1989) 1/6 scale Batman 2.0

There is no absolute truth IMO. From low angle, oval From face, rounder.

    Hot Toys MMS 692 + 693 BATMAN (1989) 1/6 scale Batman 2.0

I think it’s a due to the angle where Batman is shot. From face the emblem looks rounder, from low it seems more oval.

Exactly, the bloody BD faceplate is the most keatonesque.

For the Battle Damaged look, it’s more burned than sand IMO. Mine:

if you want to know a little bit more about Carl Newman, the dancer who was the movement double of Michael Keaton. You can go there, very interesting: https://www.balletbat1989.com/ Dave Lea was the Stunt/Fight scenes.

Still can’t really read Keaton in this new sculpt… The base is awesome. Can’t wait to put my BD on! The forehead of the cowl is also more accurate on DX IMO. Too round and not as sharp as the previous. Don’t get me wrong. I don’t want to criticize the new one. I have no interest to do that...

    Hot Toys MMS 692 + 693 BATMAN (1989) 1/6 scale Batman 2.0

DX09 sweats so much more Keaton on these pics IMO. Don’t like the glossy cowl that doesn’t match the « stony » suit finish of the 2.0. The belt seems too yellow without the gold accents of the previous one. The only big upgrade for me is the Bat emblem. Much more accurate. DX still gets my...
