Ok this how I see things: I plan to put the DX09 next to Mars Bruce. Their respective paint app match pretty well IMO. This new 2.0 more modern and realistic to pair with the hyper realistic Jazzinc Batmobile and my DX09 BD on the Gargoyle base.

Solid figure. Looks like Keaton on certains shots, definitely not him on others. The open mouth plate is horrendous…😬

It will look better under natural light. I’m just afraid they didn’t replicate the gold accents DX09 and Returns belts had. But it’s maybe the pic.

I think they fixed that since the 1st Returns figure.

No need to debate. The new pics are much better in terms of light, details, realism, no contest. But still can’t read 100% Keaton where it’s so much obvious with the old one even with poor light and outdated paint app IMO. Take your phone and look at the pics with distance. One is clearly...

Yeah. DX09 is maybe outdated, gets flaws and maybe clumsy on certain aspects but this new one, even being more refined, modern and globally better lost a little of what made all the charm of the previous.

Makes me think of a fan cosplay pic in the suit…

The 1st of these two last works very well. Contrary to this one where it could be Keaton…or Carl Newman… or Dave Lea… we don’t know… The 1st « in hands » pics should give us answers.

Ok… For my taste, suit and cowl are way too textured. Like if they wanted to do a melted battle damaged effect. These are the two shots where the sculpt works. Out of that, I don’t really see Keaton IMO… It’s a solid figure and a great release but looks like more a generic Batman 89 figure...

Exactly that. The fact is that you have to know very well the movie to read Keaton in this sculpt. For non trained eyes, the smirk faceplate of DX09 was immediately recognizable IMO.

Yeah think too the suit is too textured. It’s less rough and more sleek IMO. Still don’t understand why they pronounced so much the lines under the eye’s holes…

Fun fact, if I remember correctly, for Rogue One, it’s a Quasimodo ANH modified helmet that was used on set.

My HT 1st release box… A nightmare… @a-dev Never had in hands but the Jazzinc’s boxes seem to be really fitted around the car and look slimmer than HT boxes.

Without the cocoon of the 1sr release, they managed to reduce drastically the size of the box. The first one looked like a fridge…😅
