SlyStalloneshop 1/6 Rocky Balboa “Loan Shark” version is out apparently…

I know this figure is probably about 80 dollars overpriced but honestly it’s ******* awesome. And you can blame Sly and Nick for the price. I’ll grading that on a kaustic level this is the best thing they’ve ever done quality wise. Inigo, Sean, Dario etc you know their work is good it’s just...

Hot Toys She-Hulk: Attorney at Law

I am a fan of the character probably equally as much as I like the hulk and I sure think the look of the character is perfect for the show despite sometimes shoddy CGI. I also loved the show and I kind of loved how it pissed off the fanboys. They’ve kind of steered marvel into being...

Correct on all accounts! No stripping, just adding of paint

InArt: The Lord of the Rings - Aragorn 1:6

Thanks everyone for the kind words. I think now that I reworked it and shared pics it better illustrates what I mentioned a few pages back, which I know a few people may have thought was blowing things out of proportion. I do want to clarify that I think this is more than an admirable effort...

InArt: The Lord of the Rings - Aragorn 1:6

I loved your pics bud! Thanks for sharing, and share more! I had forgotten about that outfit variation too before someone a fee pages back posted the capture from the film, which I also used as a reference for the pose!

InArt: The Lord of the Rings - Aragorn 1:6

I think some universal truths are that indeed his face is a tough one to capture. Harrison Ford, Daniel Craig, Kyle Maclachlan… Viggo all guys with super distinctive faces, incredibly charismatic guys that tend to look different in every still frame. It’s very very difficult to capture them...

InArt: The Lord of the Rings - Aragorn 1:6

This proves my theory I haven’t seen any posted here with the rooted hair that have as good a likeness. I’m not saying I don’t like rooted hair and feel it adds realism, far from it… I’m not saying its not weird to have a sculpted Aragorn and a rooted Gandalf, far from it. But unfortunately the...

InArt: The Lord of the Rings - Aragorn 1:6

I think the crappy Elvan cloak has a lot to do with this… it bunches up so high and covers the neck (even on their prototype) But I do agree not pushing it so far down will help that too

It is so cheap… I’m using the ACI one and it’s sooooo much better, but I’d be in if someone were to organize a run for a better one.

InArt: The Lord of the Rings - Aragorn 1:6

It seems that there are several posts after mine echoing my theory that it’s a complete crapshoot as to what you are going to get with the rooted hair one I’ve seen some that look so bad, I feel fortunate to have gotten one that looked decent and I still spent hours reworking it too. My...

InArt: The Lord of the Rings - Aragorn 1:6

7/10 is my rating on this one. And In my opinion the only real winners this time are the ones who got the sculpted hair. First let me say the good things, the tailoring apart from the elven cloak is excellent. The accessories are excellent. As always the whole presentation is excellent . And...

1/6 Hot Toys - MMS664-D48 - Iron Man - Iron Man Mark 3 (2.0 For Real This Time!)

To my eye the proportions are not really an issue with this figure. I mean maybe if you are going for accuracy it is I’d argue the mark 3 1.0 was more accurate, the same thing that bothered me with the film suit vs. mark 4 is those silly little skinny thighs and massive shoulder armor. Maybe...

1/6 Hot Toys - MMS664-D48 - Iron Man - Iron Man Mark 3 (2.0 For Real This Time!)

Yeah shocking… 25 pages what? It’s the most iconic iron man and probably the best iron man figure ever, I actually think that the 1/6 market and marvel specifically is seeing extreme fatigue.

1/6 Hot Toys - MMS664-D48 - Iron Man - Iron Man Mark 3 (2.0 For Real This Time!)

I don’t think so. I scoured the internet for hours to find one close to retail price. All are marked up several hundreds of dollars. I don’t know why I feel like this was a sleeper release perhaps it was very limited? I’m glad I didn’t overpay. I found one at a local comic shop in my home town...

Hot Toys Spider-Man: No Way Home - 1/6th scale Spider-Man (final suit)

A few days after opening him still giddy/in love. Opened up the mark 3 2.0 too both those figures are 🧑‍🍳 💋 If I ever need to hardcore strip my marvel collection down these two are there to the bitter end. Not only two faithful representations of the films, not only two great figures but two...

Hot Toys Spider-Man: No Way Home - 1/6th scale Spider-Man (final suit)

Once again I’m absolutely shocked to see a spiderman yet alone marvel figure with only 25 pages here. Are we finally seeing marvel hot toys fatigue? With so many spider man’s specifically Tom Spider-Man’s I do get it. But with all the silly iron man tech weird color spiderman contraptions they...

1/6 Hot Toys - Episode II: Attack of The Clones - Padmé Amidala

Yeah it’s one of the weirdest things I’ve seen in awhile even weirder that it washed right out (thank God) It was also sitting on a shelf untouched for weeks so it wasn’t like I was handling it either. Really hope mine was just a freak occurrence but if it happens to anyone else, everyone...
