Hahaha, I've not even bothered emailing after hearing your case because mine at least moves.
This makes me feel like not bothering even more which is insane, because the bare minimum element of this figure should be the body being able to articulate.
But for you please don't give up and push...
I hope JND do a 1/3 before they do a 1/6, either way I'd order that as well as having the 4-pack from Inarts, could just sell the Inart red suit.
I can see the improvements HT have made, I'm surprised they haven't made them further. JC Hongs paintwork is always incredible. But the production...
Very fond memories of having the original from Hot Toys, very early on in the start of my collecting game. Ordered through a UK retailer that went bust and to go through a whole ordeal with my bank to reverse charge, 3rd year of uni.
Got a special place for the armour and the film in my heart...
Oooft. Hot Toys, what are you doing! Why does the suit look cell-shaded? Why are his eyes so bad?
This looks alright, but I don't think it comes anywhere near Inarts.
Happy to see them release a version anyway, maybe that long rumoured Logan will happen too now?
Yeesh, that figure came out as complete trash, very happy I cancelled my order. Surprised by the love it got, an utter dupe for a grand.
I'd love to know what happened and how they got it so wrong when their other releases are stellar.
Hope Phoenix Joker doesn't have the same.
Right. I love paying half a grand for a figure and buying my own magnets to make stable a figure that should be anyway.
Why don't they release the figure unpainted and I can do that myself too?
I have Superman on pre-order, I missed this, it's absolutely what should be done with such a release and really happy to hear.
I still feel an after care offering should be in place for releases like The Batman. I sincerely hope they explore offering other bases also, more clean and...
Absolutely agreed. :duff
Also they should offer drape capes, if not both, the option to have one over the other. Stop this wire crap. Or offer an after sales drape option. How is it 2024 in Superhero 1/6 without companies accounting for this. 1/6 hasn't evolved until this happens...
That's fair enough mate. If I could source from someone a nice wooden crotch grabber base or a base similar to JND, I would choose to put them on these. I think I mentioned in my initial post it's a shame such a high quality figure comes with such tacky bases that aren't unified. The base...
Call me naive but I believe you should be able to trust a product that costs half a grand in the parts it comes with of it fulfilling their purpose to a solid degree. Cut all the crap useless accessories and combine the cost of those to a stand that actually works. A magnetic stand isn't...
That's strange. My right arm definitely seems intentionally ratcheted, like it settles at the next position and then can hold weight. I assumed that's how it should be.
My right arm goes flush naturally, for the left to go flush I need to push his arm behind the back to the right side to over...
Just came home to find he had fallen backwards off the base. He was stood up perfectly straight beforehand.
My joy for this figure is fast plummeting, no point of paying all this money more for it to come defective, and if not coming defective, becoming so because their bases suck... at least...
Not too sure, think I opened mine up last week or the week before and it's the first thing I noticed when articulating it. I absolutely love that with Inart you can have the arms hang in a natural looking way beside the torso, it's one of the best things about the company for me... Go figure...
Ah, my bad, it's the ankle joints, but the magnets are still weak and suck, have to be exactly on the right place. Why go to lengths of making an intricate sliding base, just magnetism the whole base, are magnets that expensive?
My left shoulder is broken also - doesn't ratchet, I did strip the torso down to see if there was anything stuck or on the outside I could see causing an issue, but nothing - it just has no ratchet, will contact Kit to see if anything can be done.
I did come home today also to see him do a...
It was said in the Facebook group it is a production piece. And I have no doubt about it, because I own 7 statues and all of the have come out exactly the same as prototype if not better. All of them came out on schedule, if not before. I absolutely love these statues, which is why ive invested...
