Rumor: Hot Toys 1/6 scale Artisan Joaquin Phoenix Joker

Easy pass. JND and Inarts are doing it better.

JND Studios 1/6 scale Heath Ledger Joker figure

The paint for the make-up here looks fine to be honest, the Mob scene is the standout scene where his makeup is absolutely caked on, my recollection of him the rest of the film is it pretty much being a work face app, at least not to the degree of a pure white fresh-face. Think it's a good...

JND Studios 1/6 scale Heath Ledger Joker figure

That's looking incredible there. Very excited for this release!

    JND/Kojun Works - 1/6 Harry Potter Line

The portrait is good, it's the uncanny valley effect throwing it. What's not good is the rest of the figure. The portrait is more realistic than Inarts, they're both spot on for likeness.

    JND/Kojun Works - 1/6 Harry Potter Line

The uncanny valley is showing. For all its strengths it looks odd. Hermione has come out looking great.

    JND/Kojun Works - 1/6 Harry Potter Line

Copying Inart? JND have the best producton team to put all this out in the space between Inart announcing theirs and the announcement of this, unbelievable speed at research and development just to copy Inart!

InArt - The Batman 1/6th Figure

Can't take any decent photos, but I've settled on this being a pretty special release. Comparing it to a custom item that was over 2x the price of this, and yet this seems more finessed and intricate, it's unimaginable how far this hobby has come in terms of mass production. I'm incredibly, very...

InArt - The Batman 1/6th Figure

That's because they are skinny. I stripped him to see what's wrong with the shoulder, and it seems like there's glue or some much making it stiff as well as just something wrong with the ratchet. But it struck me just how skinny his arms are, like... They're really skinny, the body is definitely...

InArt - The Batman 1/6th Figure

Clippers. Patience. Boxing bag. Huge blunt. Edit: To be serious. Patience and small clippers are essential. The lower belt on the gun holster will only clip right at the knee for me, where you can loosen the belt on it doesn't seem to work, the material doesn't move like it does on the actual...

InArt - The Batman 1/6th Figure

After that game, cba to go into depth or take pictures. This figure is impressive. Incredibly impressive. At first I was underwhelmed with it's size, compared to Hot Toys the overall figure is smaller in scale (Hot Toys really did get larger through time), but this is in scale perfectly...

InArt - The Batman 1/6th Figure

Game is about to start, but opened and starting to get into the display... I have opinions on my first ever Inart that's opened, but not enough time to write about them, and not fully formed. But What I can say at the moment is this: F the base, it sucks. And the left arm is broken or not working.

Mine has been delivered also, might open tonight if the England game is boring. Therefore I will open it tonight.

InArt - The Batman 1/6th Figure

Pepperidge Farm remembers that. Feels like many, many years ago now, simpler times. Hot Toys was on their 205th Iron Man and Viper was only attacking small-time toy companies at the time, no one knew what was around the corner. Take me back!

InArt: The Lord of the Rings - Aragorn 1:6

Stabbed in the shoulder with a lightsaber I see, awful way to live.

InArt: The Lord of the Rings - Aragorn 1:6

Those photos are mad. This is definitely looking to be the best ever mass-produced 1/6. They've nailed one of the most important things that I've not seen any manufacture get right at this scale, anatomy and weight of the body, combined with thin clothing. That seems to be Inarts key success.

InArt - The Batman 1/6th Figure

Is it the first three digits of the order? If so mine's 855 and is shipping today, so the cut-off of the first batch must be between 855 and 876, so I imagine you'd be second.

InArt - The Batman 1/6th Figure

Trying to go dark on this, but got my invoice for the premium and paid. 2nd Inart I'll have in-hand but first one I'll open, hoping it will capture some magic of opening some of my first Hot Toys!

    JND/Kojun Works - 1/6 Harry Potter Line

That's a great diorama, wouldn't go amiss from being at the Warner Bro's Studio tour. Didn't realise JND would be all over Harry Potter, must be another one James adores.

    JND/Kojun Works - 1/6 Harry Potter Line

If I were to get anything from Harry Pottah it would be Snape and Quidditch Harry. With JND you're guaranteed to get what is pre-ordered at least (apart from Superman lol), and on-time or ahead of schedule. Regardless, as much as I enjoy Harry Potter, it's not really something I'd looking to...

    JND/Kojun Works - 1/6 Harry Potter Line

I understand, but I do think this is more to do with what licensors are giving companies in general rather than x company copying x company. I think it was with JND's The Batman where they mentioned on a video that another company was releasing one also and they had no idea, but were stipulated...
