I agree, from a customer perspective there’s no need for these limited exclusives. Seems to me that they experimented with another marketing approach and it’s been successful. They’re creating a sense of urgency - you snooze and you lose. I’m pretty sure every one of these exclusives have sold...

…besides their being able to charge more for it knowing that people will shrug and buy it regardless. That and they won’t end up sitting on a pile of inventory that they can’t move. We might not like it, but they definitely have their reasons lol.

That applies for U.S. customers as well. I'm in Michigan and (depending on the price of the figure) I find that I have to burn anywhere from $45 to $60 in reward points with Sideshow just to get their cost competitive with other out-of-state sellers who don't charge sales tax and whose shipping...
