1/6 Hot Toys - MMS647 - Episode II: Attack of The Clones - Shiny Clone Trooper

What's more annoying is that the Pilot helmet seems to have a more accurate/completely different headsculpt in regards to that. Weirdly though it looks like the Pilot was hand sculpted fairly poorly? (see the mouth fins in comparison to the standard Phase 1).

Hot Toys - 1/6 Episode II AOTC - Super Battle Droid

I'll be very guttered if they actually stick to that design. If they're going to bother making this figure at all, do the more detailed, more visually interesting, more canonical design from AOTC.

1/6 Hot Toys - MMS649 - Episode II: Attack of The Clones - Geonosis Battle Droid

Very similar to the SH Figuarts Geonosis battle droid accessory wise:

1/6 Hot Toys - MMS647 - Episode II: Attack of The Clones - Shiny Clone Trooper

Is this a new sculpt for the Phase 1 Helmet? Photo comparisons stat!

1/6 Hot Toys - MMS681 - Episode II: Attack of The Clones - Mace Windu

Any proof this isnt just an old Sideshow figure? I feel like they've used them as stand ins before in promo shots right?

Hot Toys MMS AOTC Padme Amidala (Speculation)

I'd rather they screw up Jane Foster then fix it for Padme rather than the opposite though.

Star Wars Celebration 2022 Sideshow Booth Exclusives

Any one of Mace Windu, ROTS Yoda, AOTC Padme, TPM Obi Wan, Phase 1 Clones and ROTS Palpatine would be a dream. Maybe an Admiral Piett or Veers would be cool too.

1/6 Hot Toys - Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back: Lando Calrissian (Bespin version)

Parted out figures don't seem to be a thing in China/Hong Kong anymore right? At least on Ebay. I used to be able to easily construct figures piece by piece around the launch of a Hot Toy, but those sellers don't seem to exist anymore, or the ones that do are so outrageously expensive that...

1/6 Hot Toys DX19 - The Dark Knight Rises - 1/6th scale Batman Collectible Figure

Damn, I'm loving how much more full this figure looks. The Armory Batman, from skinny and small body to the smooth/ rounded head just didn't work for me over time, even if it did look great under certain lighting.

1/6 Hot Toys DX19 - The Dark Knight Rises - 1/6th scale Batman Collectible Figure

Raymond Fong's modifications to DX19 (Login • Instagram) from OneSixthRepublic: What you really need to see before anyone even receives a figure is mods to fix it hahah, but this looks great. The headsculpt I don't think has been modified and it looks great here. Biggest improvements from...

1/6 Hot Toys DX19 - The Dark Knight Rises - 1/6th scale Batman Collectible Figure

Admittedly, this is not the cheapest release that could have happened. To see just how cheap Hot Toys can be, see the recast of the already awful looking 2011 Batman Begins figure that they're releasing this year (which itself, I just realised, a recast/ re-release of the 2008 Hot Toy). 10...

1/6 Hot Toys DX19 - The Dark Knight Rises - 1/6th scale Batman Collectible Figure

Iforigno made a bunch of good capes a while back, not sure if they're available anymore though. I foolishly gave mine away with my Armory Batman in some belief Hot Toys would finally get it right with this, but here we are hahah.

1/6 Hot Toys DX19 - The Dark Knight Rises - 1/6th scale Batman Collectible Figure

Looks a lot better here under this sort of lighting. The cape looks awful still which is amazing to me that they still cant get the message that all you need is a thin piece of cut material which is likely cheaper than the effort they go into cutting and sowing these capes. I'm still weighing...

Hot Toys DX24 & DX25 Bespin Luke Skywalker (Regular and Exclusive versions)

So the normal hair is just the exact same sculpt from the yet to be released Snowspeeder Luke? Hence why it looks so small on this new sculpt because it was designed with another head in mind? Is there a chance they'll change the Snowspeeder Luke to this new headsculpt? I feel like this new...

1/6 Hot Toys DX19 - The Dark Knight Rises - 1/6th scale Batman Collectible Figure

For those people complaining about his height, this is actually a massive improvement. The last Dark Knight figure looked totally undersized next to every other figure outside of the DK trilogy line, like a different scale. At least now it can sit next to other figures and not look out of place.

1/6 Hot Toys DX19 - The Dark Knight Rises - 1/6th scale Batman Collectible Figure

What I can't understand is people talking about Queen Studios as if they've proven they're better than Hot Toys. They haven't even released a single 1/6 scale figure yet. With that said, it's a shame the cowl heads eyes appear too large like the last few iterations Hot Toys have done, and also...

1/6 Hot Toys - The Clone Wars: Darth Maul (Lord Mandalore) Collectible Figure

The problem with that sculpt is that it looks nothing like the actor though. At least the Solo version is proportionally correct, if a bit too fatty.

1/6 Hot Toys MMS - Star Wars: Episode II AOTC - Jango Fett

There's also just a lot of issues with warped perspective which they didn't have a handle on in AOTC but were almost completely resolved in ROTS. It's amazing just how much better ROTS looks despite using the same filming techniques.

    Sideshow Ghostface Sixth Scale Figure

Has anyone done a body swap on this figure yet? Is it worthwhile?
