QS007 was the standard, QS008 was the deluxe with the giant stand. They came out in like 2017. They reissued the deluxe only in 2022, still QS008, that's why it is still in stock. Afaik the reissue was identical to previous and they all had the crap airbrushing in it, but it could be removed...

I can't speak for the Mk3 or 4, but the 42/43/45 QS blew the 1/6 out of the water. It looks like a prop next to a toy. Granted the redone DC 6 and 7s are better 1/6 scale versions than the older 42/43s were, but honestly I still think plastic panels give sharper details than the diecasts anyway

They did a 2.0 of the Mk2/3 as the first diecast it was a cobbled together shrimp. All the other diecasts were actually new attempts at the suit and were already taller than the plastic ones.

Arrived safe and sound (and fast!) from Kit- going to be traveling for a bit so going to have to leave him packed up for now but looks great so far, no issues I can see anywhere

Step one to any AoU Cap is to swap the pants for some CW ones. This one is still my favorite, the white on the arms is so much more balanced

He's got a padded body suit from his midsection to ankles, that restricts the legs somewhat. The pants themselves are pretty big and loose on top. Might need to make some cuts in the undersuit if you wanted full movement for a proper seated pose

That's how every full body suit is finished unfortunately, there is no zipper so they have to put the suit on the body and hand stitch the open side closed. Called a ladder stitch, see it a lot on stuffed animals too
