I know its unfortunate there was QC issues with this set, but I think we do need to take a second and appreciate that NECA straight up saved us from the horrible playmates license and has delivered us the very best turtles figures we've ever seen though this convention exclusive loophole over...

I think i got lucky, i got one eye slightly crossed on Leo, no other complaints though!

Im of the opinion the HT beats SS in every way basically, nothing substantially better, but the dome does makes it worth the upgrade. If the dome is true die cast, and it gives the figure a nice weight, it will for sure put it over the top for me. I always hated how light and cheap the SS one felt..

as horrid as this sculpt is, I must say I do like the way they've tackled his hair. I've yet to see a custom sculpt pull off his weird triangle 'do, I think this one does the best job

I know this is the longest of long shots, but if anyone would take pity on me and pick me up a SDCC NECA animated set, Id love them forever, and pay them for their trouble!

I think overall the yunsil outfit is much better, but HT is still a great outfit. Only the very particular and discerning customize will need the yunsil, and Im still very happy to have it and buy the HT for everything else.

Maybe hot toys best sculpt ever. Can't wait for this!
