It does look good finally with the snow suit

Just rewatched that movie yesterday for the first time in years. What a great movie. I wonder if it could be released today. It's quite provocative.

Just received the zc toys. Very life like but so off. Too bad we can't get a good leo sculpt. I think it's the nose that's really off. I'm still going to kitbadh that snow suit but hope a better sculpt will come out one day.

i sold my sideshow boba and am impatient to get this one: The paint job is MUCH better. I'm 100% sure the body will be way more poseable that the sideshow. I also hope the back pad holds with a magnet and not just some crappy hooks like the sideshow version. And finally , I like the color scheme...

Did anyone ended up doing a snow version of this using the Magic Cube Snow suit?

All i did for The water treatment is spray water to the robes still on the figure, give it the shape you want and let it dry. Use a cheap base to not damage the real one

I also bought one of these Titanium helmet, so I can paint the blood on the Stormtrooper's head and use it as a prop down the line.

Head is some old top gun figure from Zwtoys or something. It looks good only from certain angles lol. The "mission important" headsculpt is good but the knockoff aren't. At least with this one you recognize him even if it looks a bit caricaturish. The jacket is from that DID Fringe figure

I love Minority report too. This is the best kitbash I could come up with. I have yet to find a decent headsculpt

I went ahead and remove the inner dress thingy and did a water treatment. Oh what a difference does it make! The puffiness at the waist was so annoying I was almost considering selling the figure. But now, what a beautiful thing it is.

Done! Strangely I like that look better than with the hood.

Just to confirm before I do the hood removal mod: Once the thread are cut, if you put the hood back, does it look as good? Does it fall as nicely on the shoulder as before?

As I mentionned on OSR, the Vader on the right is the best Vader I have EVER seen. That being said, out of the box, its still spectacular. I think the only mod that is required is to futz the robe (water treatment) and move the belt boxes. What I also did is apply some flat coat on the hands...

Just found this great figure for basically the release date price, so I'm quite happy. I only padded the shoulders to raise his collar/shorten his neck and tightened his collar. Might do the beanie mod, but I think I'm gonna order another beanie and preserve the original one. Here are some pics...
