1/6 Hot Toys - MMS 279 - Star Wars Episode IV: 1/6th scale Darth Vader

Can someone explain how to remove the wiring from the robe? I really don't want to go through 956 pages ;)

1/6 1/6 Hot Toys - MMS - Star Wars: ROTJ - Boba Fett

Just sold my SS version too over the weekend and preordered the standard version (I don't need that ****** base, really). It,s going to be a long 6 months without a Boba in my collection.

1/6 1/6 Hot Toys - MMS - Star Wars: ROTJ - Boba Fett

I currently have the Sideshow Boba Fett. Is the upgrade worth it? (I don't really have a preference for the Empire or Jedi look)

    Saving Private Ryan Customs

Here's mine. He's also my first custom I ever made. I was initially seeking the DID figure but it was way to expensive so I ended up with only the DID sculpt and found everything else on eBay. Glad I did because, for example, this die cast Helmet here (sorry I forgot the brand) is much better...

1/6 Hot Toys - MMS 279 - Star Wars Episode IV: 1/6th scale Darth Vader

I ended up applying a coat of Tamiya Dull coat on the hands to make them less shiny (and then an even smaller coat of Tamiya Gloss). I think it looks better now, as the hands have the same shinyness as the leather gloves. Still having a bit of trouble posing these gauntlets though! Before After

1/6 Hot Toys - MMS 279 - Star Wars Episode IV: 1/6th scale Darth Vader

Finally got this great fig. Only thing that bugged me are the hands which are way too shiny (making them look darker then the leather). I ended up applying a small coat of tamiya dull coat and then an even smaller shiny coat to make it more uneven. It now blends much more nicely with the leather...

1/6 Hot Toys - MMS 279 - Star Wars Episode IV: 1/6th scale Darth Vader

Anybody knows where I could find a spare Hot Toys belt? (Hell even a spare sideshow would do). I have the chance to get a Hot Toys Vader for cheap but missing a belt. I tried ebay, toyanxiety and Kghobby but can't find any.

Eleven Toys: The Chem Man Accessory Pack

I was looking at that figure, and thought something was wrong: the arms are way too long because the gloves are too narrow and I could never insert them far enough. So I decided to cut the gloves. Now they are the proper length and actually is more accurate.

    1/6 Hot Toys - MMS 320 - Star Wars Ep.VII - Kylo Ren

There's a bunch of scene where he doesn't have his hood: When talking to the vader helmet, when returning to find Rey has escaped, etc

    ART-Figures: Navy Seal Special

I got that fig as part of a bundle and want to sell it. How much is it going for on the market? (eBay puts it at $200US which seems way too high)

the robe of my figure has several wrinkles at the bottom that are annoying. How can I remove that? I obviously can't iron the robe because it's kinda of rubbery.

he also has the hood down in the flashback scene

Some shots of mine. It's the first time I've ever had a figure that I find hard to photograph. Somewhat no shot renders the badassness of the fig.

    Hot Toys Sandtrooper MMS 295

I think it's really just the "ears" that is slightly too wide on the sandtrooper. Everything else looks the same. By ears, I mean that white separator on the side. Picture from a few pages before:

It's exactly the back section being a bit wider that is throwing me off. Thanks. So you're saying in the movie they are wider?

    Hot Toys Sandtrooper MMS 295

I assume the Sandtrooper and the standard trooper have the exact same sculpt. I don't see why they would hire a sculptor to redo work.

    Hot Toys Sandtrooper MMS 295

Below is my final pose for now. Now I have a question to the Star Wars experts: Is it me or is the helmet oversized? Maybe I got used to much to my sideshow stormtrooper (which had a slightly smaller head (or bigger body, who knows). i assume Hot Toys is more accurate to the movie?

    Hot Toys Sandtrooper MMS 295

Finally got the figure and install it on a custom base. I took a smaller frame (found at the dollar store and filled with hobby shop sand) than the one shown before a few pages back because it was taking too much space. I went for a different look than the binocular one, althought I will...

    Hot Toys Sandtrooper MMS 295

Still waiting for my sandtrooper. Seeing all the pictures here, I realise that everyone is using the same pose because you are basically forced to put the feet in the two footprint. So I decided to make my own base with real sand (from model kits at hobby shop)
