The exclusive time limit really boils down to getting preorders at SSC. The hobby fan base also grew during the pandemic. Now that people can once again travel, some people are not buying as many figures. A week of vacation for two can easily cost 10 figures. Stores overstocked.

They can do other versions with a throne, open dome, suit up... They did half an Ironman so they can do half a Vader in a bacta tank. They can then re-do every single release with genuine leather suit, full usb, etc.

They did the exact same for last year's Summer Showcase. This one is a bit more of a push, at least for me, since I want the box. The others were all hologram bits that I don't really care about.

They did that with the Ironman Mk85. The BD version has some shiny clean parts too.

No issue with the Gideon sculpt. He can be better but it is what it is. Bo needs to be better. Likeness is worst than the Obiwan issue.

I think they can go lower for the Vader because most of the parts on it are re-use. I'm not getting Mighty Thor so if they can bury the cost of the Portman sculpt into that and lower the price on Padme, I'm cool, LOL.

Someone gathered some stats and posted it in a FB group the other day. If a figure is teased, especially in the form of a con prototype, and not announced shortly (I guess within a month or so), the probability of it being announced eventually is less than 10%.

This is just a shot from a random scene where I assume light isn't blasting into his face. It's just the the skin tone of the figure looks too tanned. It stood out in the photos of the figure because everything is white. I hope it's just a camera thing.

Anyone remember how HT did it for the 2nd Summer event last year? Did they start announcing figures weekly going into the event and count them as the wave 2 of their event or did they announced a bunch of new figures all at one at the event? It was the Summer Night Showcase or something.
