Dragon Toy - The Dark Ruler 1/6 Scale

Received mine. It's a wonderfully made figure... but I don't really care for the scale of it. The movie went to far with Sauron's size, in my opinion. I have a 3d print figure that's about a head taller than a nazgul. Might stick with that.

InArt: The Lord of the Rings - Gandalf 1:6

I'm never going to understand teh hate on the Asmus Gandalf. At least with the revised Asmus head, I honestly just can't really perceive much difference between it and the InArt figure. I hope going forward InArt produces figures that Asmus didn't - Saruman, most specifically.

Dragon Toy - The Dark Ruler 1/6 Scale

Great. He can be posed book accurate where he walks up and casually cuts the ring off the overthrown Sauron's finger after Elendil and Gil-Galad had already beat him.

Most Famous Person You’ve Actually Seen/Met in the Flesh

Howard Chaykin might be the most chatty guy in comics. You must have caught him on a bad day.

Most famous? Had lunch with this guy once.

    TBLeague PL2023-220 1/6 Scale Medusa

Ordered the green, as I much prefer the colors. But frustrated as I very much prefer the neutral expression.

InArt: The Lord of the Rings - Gandalf 1:6

I feel similarly about Raiders of the Last Ark and how Indiana Jones never left the classroom. And Ghostbusters too… the fact that they never encountered a single ghost still confuses me…

InArt: The Lord of the Rings - Aragorn 1:6

Disagree. I'd buy the Bakshi versions of all the characters.

Doesn't work out the same way for me, unfortunately.

    Hello from Toy Anxiety!!

Yeah, I missed a bunch of stuff I had been waiting to see pop up when Twitter stopped updating. Still find it harder to catch updates without it. :/

    Asmus - 1/6 Gollum/Smeagol

Asmus also said that replacement Gandalf hats would be included with all future purchases. That did not happen. So… grain of salt with this promise for eternal replacement parts.

Mars Toys Cara Dune 1/6 Figure

I loved the idea behind the character, but loathed the actresses’ execution. For me the third season is the most watchable. Was pretty glad when she was taken off the show, just in terms of character/performance preference. Carano chose to poke the bear and paid the price. I personally find her...

    Questions for Asmus

Ruined? Was Willlow ever actually not terrible to any one under the age of 13?

Blitzway - Cutthroat Island: Morgan Adams

The movie is deeply underrated. Still disappointed they didn’t make the toy.

Most Prized Comic Book(s) You Own!

I own every issue of the Charlton Action Hero era - which includes every Peacemaker appearance (as well as Captain Atom, Blue Beetle, Question). Those seem to have increased in value lately - particularly Peacemaker. I don’t hate that - though I don’t purchase comics based on investments

1/6 Hot Toys - MMS677- Episode II: Attack of The Clones - Padawan Anakin Skywalker

Every style of mullet is defined by this - hair that is cut shorter at the front, top and sides, but is longer at the back. If it’s not cut in this way, it can’t be a mullet. That’s not my definition. it’s THE definition. It can be swept back, spiked up, shaved, overgrown, etc… but with all...

1/6 Hot Toys - MMS677- Episode II: Attack of The Clones - Padawan Anakin Skywalker

Of course not. Didn’t say it had to be shaved. But it does have to be cut to be longer in the back and shorter on the top and sides. One of the pic you posted is not a mullet. It doesn’t really matter if the actors called it a mullet. Most people use the term incorrectly, and actors are not...

1/6 Hot Toys - MMS677- Episode II: Attack of The Clones - Padawan Anakin Skywalker

While we’re at it, Superman never had a mullet either.

1/6 Hot Toys - MMS677- Episode II: Attack of The Clones - Padawan Anakin Skywalker

A mullet is hair that is cut so that it is shorter on the top and side and long in the back. Kenobi’s hair is just long - all of it. Or to put it another way - if you shave your head and then grow your hair out for a year, your hair on top will hang shorter than your hair at the back of the head...
