So I painted a Bruce Wayne sculpt for practice before I take on the Indy. I’m gonna try a few more times before I tackle Indy. I’m waiting on paints for the eyes. I hope it’s ok I post this here, I know it’s not Indy but he’s the goal. Haha what do y’all think?

You sir are awesome! Haha thanks a lot. I practiced yesterday and some today on a Bruce Wayne sculpt I have. Thank god I practiced on a spare head first. It’s been a hell of a time. I’m having skin tone issues. Your post has helped a lot.

Good job! I’m nervous. Haven’t painted before but today I’m gonna paint my V3. I hope I like it well enough. Don’t feel like redoing or having it redone. Any tips from y’all?

Mine took a month. It sucks but it was worth it.

How dare you?! Haha My gf and I were looking at them. She said the same thing. I honestly feel like the v2 has more HF, but it’s like old HF cosplaying as young Indiana Jones. The V3 is a huge mystery to me. I have it here in hand and unpainted it’s beautiful and unmistakable, but paint...

Saw that on FB! Looks great congrats! How can those 2 sculpts both look so great yet so different? Haha I think that’s the best this head has looked painted. Can’t wait to see it on your figure. I’ve decided, after a month of waiting for this head in the mail, and how crazy postal services have...

My thoughts exactly. That shot of the figure aiming down the sight is perfect! Yeah when I popped the head on, I was so happily surprised. I can’t believe after all these years, Indy looks this great. Haha And yes. I glued it down. I didn’t want to go to heavy, so I put just a dot of fabritac...

Has to be the cheekbones. I think if they were filled in a tad bit, it would help

Finally got the V3! I have to say, it?s beautiful. Incredible likeness and very clean. The hat came out of the box with a flat, straight brim. More like Zorro but I fixed that in literally a minute. Can?t wait to get this thing painted Not sure why it keeps flipping my photos. Sorry :/

I’m putting a TOD Indy together and I have a spare body and shirt, I took pastels to it and it looks great then I brushed the body with mod podge gloss sealer for sweat and that surprisingly worked really well. I just hope that when I get the body I’m going to use, the rubber torso takes the...

Anybody have any tips as to making a figure sweaty and dirty? I should also add the figure has a rubber torso. I’ve read that acrylic varnish is good for the sweat effect. Is that just a spray you apply after weathering?

Looks great Ash! Don’t shorten those sleeves! They’re perfect. They were long on Ford. Down to his knuckles
