The real question is, why do we think they decided to change the texture? Was it to add visual interest by creating more texture? Was it to hide sloppy modifications they made in order to bulk up the original mold? Were there issues with the original mold since they last produced the figure?

Yeah, the 1.0 ripped cowl was designed to conform to the contours of that original BW sculpt. Seems like the 2.0 head is a touch smaller.

Hmm, the more I see of this thing, the more I'm disliking it. For me it's giving off Barbie levels of quality. The hands are nice though.

Yeah, I'm thinking I can probably get all my funds back from SSC, including the deposit, since we've all been waiting years, and I could put the funds toward another figure. Plus, I think my enthusiasm for the figure overall has waned by this point.

Do we think this is ever being released? Has anyone had any luck contacting the company responsible for the release? The further we go into the future, the more outdated the protos are looking.
