Yeah I vaguely remember him. I started collecting in the mid 70’s when comics had just gone up to 25cents I don’t remember him being around that long though.

I went ahead and took a few more pics in natural light. I think the new gold catches the light really well. I tried to capture how much texture there still is on the lightning bolt but wasn’t that successful. Thankfully in person at least you can see the variance more intensely.

Thanks! I saw an a Insta I think where someone painted the lighting bolt and it still illuminated really well. Then again that person may have used better quality paint than me, I just used some gold metallic model paint I had sitting around from a model project I started with my son a couple...

I decided to repaint the gold on this guy (I was pretty nervous about doing it), I didn’t hate it as it appeared out of the box or anything , I just felt it that it came off more as bronze. So, I lightened the “gold” and modified the belt so that it wasn’t quite so wide and more like it appears...

Yeah guys, I’m really tempted by this too, 99% of my collection is superheroes. I have InArt Paul Atredies on PO which is my only non “superhero”. I love how this figure looks, I think it is fantastic, I’m just not sure it will fit in with my collection.

Yeah I hear you and I 100% understand the rationale for waiting, because if there is a Spiderman vs Venom movie HT will certainly make both Spidey and Venom figures and I am sure they will be Amazing!! But since I’m starting to slow down with my figure collecting over the next couple of years...

Hahahaha, indeed. Yeah the Iron Scavenger, looks awesome!!! It is my favorite of the three (I think it was three) versions by different companies that were announced. But yeah that wingspan is immense, too big for what I am doing with my display, but I was very tempted.

Yeah that would settle it for sure, but I still have my one figure per character rule ...still can't believe I have managed to stick with it for seven years :)
