Just got the Dean Tolliver sculpt back from Darco Customs for painting. Absolutely beautiful work on the sculpt and the paint, and the unmasked head really takes this one to another level for me.

Well for the price, I’m pretty happy. Sure the arms are bad and the suit shouldn’t be posed too extreme, but the heads look great. If anything, grabbing the SooSoo body might work out will 4 heads sitting around.

I don’t LOVE the body on this one, but it looks so nice that I’m willing to overlook it.

Definitely a pretty plausible explanation. It would explain the mystery of why they were selling the 5 heads and then just threw in a full figure. The likeness is definitely still there, so if we end up getting that and 4 extra heads for ~$200 I’ll be very happy.

Not to mention, this is one where they already did make improvements from when it was revealed. That’s not to say they can’t do more, but it feels like they wouldn’t do another round of changes. Maybe the LED arms are giving them trouble.
