1/8 (IMO) isn't a great idea. Adventuring into a new scale with a licence which is (as much as I hate to say it) probably not top-tier in terms of collector popularity doesn't seem like it's going to work to me. I certainly haven't considered buying them.

You're judging all the figures on poorly lit iPhone photos. And some of the figures are possibly rush-jobs for the con, and are horrendously clumped together and unfutzed. We should wait for better pics.

Thanks for the pictures, Lee, even though they do seem a bit distorted. Gimli does look really, really good though IMO. I hope they can mass-produce that. Sam's a curious one. I guess it could be a lot of lens distortion, but that doesn't look like the render video posted in the Sam thread...
