    JND/Kojun Works - 1/6 Harry Potter Line

Kit did say this regarding orders for Harry: Of course that's no indication of how many people also ordered Ron and Hermione. But I think we'll see a fair few dioramas.

    JND/Kojun Works - 1/6 Harry Potter Line

It's also far more film-accurate than the JND one, as undeniably impressive as that one is!

Jazzinc Dioramas 1/6 Ultimate Catwoman (Batman Returns, 1992)

Hot Toys have always been massive license hogs but a low move - throwing their weight around to block a small operation from half its usual market for making a legitimately licensed figure of a character that Hot Toys have ignored for a decade, and that will have basically zero impact on their...

    JND/Kojun Works - 1/6 Harry Potter Line

The slate image that Hologram AI posted above doesn't say anything about a diorama. The quote that Shoo posted says it'll be displayed in their office, but then mentions something about 'finding out if there's a b-cut' - are they suggesting that the diorama could be a Type B release companion to...

InArt: The Lord of the Rings - Gandalf 1:6

I have read that archivists tend to prefer nitrile gloves over cotton gloves because cotton is thicker and dulls the handler's sense of tactility more easily, which is a bigger threat to fragile documents than skin oil, especially if hands are regularly washed instead. They also apparently...

InArt: The Lord of the Rings - Aragorn 1:6

I don't really follow your reasoning here. Do you just mean this for Catwoman, or are you saying you would prefer to pay extra on top of Inart's already high prices for another rooted head with a different painted eye position? I wouldn't. I think PERS/SERS is much better value for money.

InArt: The Lord of the Rings - Gandalf 1:6

They seem a bit unnecessary to me, it's like they're being worn to sell the premium nature of the figures more than for any real purpose. Keeping your hands clean - as oil and sweat free as possible - seems entirely reasonable to me. I don't really get why clean hands wouldn't be fine for...

InArt: The Lord of the Rings - Aragorn 1:6

Yep, you can see this in the weibo video Splin3r posted. It's a relief to me, opening up the back of my Gandalf's head was pretty nerve-wracking the first time around because of how strong those magnets are. I thought I was going to tear out some hair... hopefully this approach works well.

And it's also worth noting that smartphone cameras tend to default to the wider lenses, so a great many smartphone pictures of the figure will be exactly this.

InArt: The Lord of the Rings - Aragorn 1:6

I don’t recall if Inart had already confirmed it but this video shows he’s got separate rolling eyes, not parallel. So hopefully there’ll be fewer QC issues with the eyes!

InArt: The Lord of the Rings - Aragorn 1:6

I would be astounded if they did change it deliberately, considering how overwhelmingly positive the feedback was. Mass production issues are another thing. But I think the subtle increase in the shadow on the image of the final figure could be responsible for making the sculpt look different...

InArt: The Lord of the Rings - Aragorn 1:6

Looks like even Inart's own team struggle with their wrist pegs. :lol

InArt - Hermione Granger 1/6 Collectible Figure

It is kind of odd that they haven't posted a picture of the three figures and the dioramas together, isn't it? You'd think it might help Ron and Hermione's numbers a bit if Inart gave people a taste of what having the three together on the shelf will look like.

InArt: The Lord of the Rings - Aragorn 1:6

This can definitely make a big difference, especially with a subject this small. It's more than resolution too, it's also YouTube's video compression that will hide a lot of the details.

InArt - Hermione Granger 1/6 Collectible Figure

Apparently Alan Rickman helped to make that decision, he didn't think that Snape was the kind of guy who'd change his clothes. Fair enough, I reckon... :lol

InArt - Hermione Granger 1/6 Collectible Figure

His costume is the same throughout the series, so the only real differences between early Snape and late Snape are subtle differences in the length and styling of the wig and a slight degree of facial aging over ten years.

I'm looking for the premium version of this, so if anyone is looking to sell a pre-order, please send me a PM! :wave

InArt - Hermione Granger 1/6 Collectible Figure

As far as 1/6 collectors go, there was a healthy buzz on here for the early Star Ace figures. But that was nine years ago and the first few releases were consistently $300 cheaper than Inart’s - so easier to collect as a line and less of a financial commitment. When the quality of the figures...

InArt - Hermione Granger 1/6 Collectible Figure

It's up on Inart's site now and there's only one listing, with the diorama. Kit has also only listed one link on his Facebook. So it looks like maybe there's no standard edition this time... Including that book makes more sense than a copy of Tales of Beedle the Bard...

InArt - Hermione Granger 1/6 Collectible Figure

Ah, well there we go. I wonder why that photo wasn't posted on Inart's own page? I think you're probably right - they might be cutting back on accessories to to keep the price of the standard version in line with the sculpted versions of the boys as much as possible.
