InArt - Hermione Granger 1/6 Collectible Figure

While overall I think she looks really good, I'm getting a bit of a rush-job vibe from this announcement. I thought Inart were supposed to be announcing Michael Jackson after Ron, but they've now brought Hermione forwards (maybe as a means of boosting Ron's sales?). Even though Inart have said...

InArt: The Lord of the Rings - Gandalf 1:6

My Gandalf's right grip hand won't fit on the peg too. I haven't had time to figure out if it's a magnet issue or if the hole's just too small for the peg but I'm thinking it might be the latter. Heating the hand didn't help. The other hands are fine though, fortunately!

InArt: The Lord of the Rings - Gandalf 1:6

I still need to do some more futzing with the hair but this guy is amazing, very glad I was able to get him relatively late in the game!

Avengers: Infinity War - (warning: Spoilers)

Re: AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR - (April 27, 2018) I just saw it. I guess if you really want to know who dies, you can look in the spoiler tags.

As for my thoughts on the movie itself, it was ok IMO. The third act was a just a whole lot of shlock action stuff but that’s...

Star Wars: The Last Jedi (Dec 15th, 2017)

I saw this last night. Ok, so this movie isn’t better than Empire. I did like it better than TFA though to some extent. TFA, where for me the Rathtar sequence was the only really eyebrow-raising scene, is more consistent than this movie, despite its close aping of the original Star Wars. I was...

    Amazon LOTR

Considering that there’s potential for selling the rights at all at this point suggests they’re softening a little. Of course, the LOTR and Hobbit movies only got made because Tolkien sold the rights to the Saul Zaentz Company in the 60s or 70s when he thought that no one could ever feasibly...

    BBC Sherlock Custom Figures Thread

Thanks. :duff He does look like a step-up from BCS and that coat is really damn nice. All of Daco’s sculpts are a bit undersized I think.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi (Dec 15th, 2017)

His opinion won't influence a committee-approved script to the extent of major plot points. If Disney aren't behind Plagueis then the movie won't be either.

    HBO's Game of Thrones

He hasn't, actually. He was diagnosed with a terminal illness but he had a successful operation and he seems to be ok now.

Molecule8 John Lennon UPDATE 5/10/18 - SCAM COMPANY!

Re: Molecule8 - 1/6th Scale John Lennon :lol :lol :lol I can hope that this figure that they're displaying is something that they're going to fix big-time, but I can't do anything more than hope. The business tactics being used by this company are so bizarre and the results so far have been...

Official Harry Potter Figure Discussion Thread

That figure hasn't been seen since 2015 or something. I doubt it's coming, same with the Hungarian Horntail head thing that was at some convention at around the same time. Apart from that, I think Lucius is the only other figure from this line that we've seen that hasn't made it out yet.

Hey, at least it has 9/100 on Metacritic. It can't be that bad. :slap

[Blitzway] The Silence of the Lambs: Hannibal Lecter

I agree with Shadow and karamazov. The vaguest genre definition is "drama" IMO. That can apply to almost anything that isn't comedy, really.. and even comedy in some ways. Horror is multi-faceted. Perhaps Silence of the Lambs is more of a thriller than a horror film, but that doesn't mean...

    Solo: A Star Wars Story

Re: Han Solo (May 25th, 2018) They did pretty well with predicting parts of TFA, so it'll be interesting to see if any of their ideas are in the film.
