Hot Toys head with shiny paint spot

Yeah, I had a super shiny sculpt one time, and it totally fixed it. I dunno about the q-tip, though. It gets tacky quick and might not go on smooth that way.

You could spritz it with Testors Dullcote. Be careful not to spray anything you want to stay shiny like the eyes.

Simply beautiful. Someone should really put that to song. It'd make a great movie love theme, I'm thinking.

    1/6 Indy Customizations: Image Thread

It's the body from the Hot Toys Assassin's Creed Ezio figure. The Sideshow TOD body seems like it would be a decent fit for the recast. It is decently tall, I believe. The Banner body would seem to be a better fit for the undersized TOD head since it is not as tall.

There's a smiling and angry Indy on Inigo's facebook page. Are those the same?

I have some extra Kato Indy duds (shirt, jacket, pants) if anybody wants. Just let me know if you're interested.

To me the nose in the MJ cast is different from the raw sculpt, the bridge of the nose especially. Head/hat sizes were a downer as well.

Geez, awesome stuff! The hair work must take some serious patience. It looks real. Wish I had flowing locks like that.

It is possible to dremel the HT hat opening a little bit to make it slightly bigger. You could also heat the bottom with a blow dryer then place it on the head. I don't have the figure yet so I don't know if either of these are super helpful or not.

Looks pretty good. How are the cuts on the face handled? Are they just painted on? I was wondering about cleaning him up.

Are the cuts on the face just painted on? I was wondering if it would be easy to clean him up. Also, is there a separate hair piece for the hat? Just wondering how the hat goes on. Thanks for the help!

Re: Quantum Mechanix 1/6 Star Trek The Original Series Kirk and Spock Those are Nanjin's babies, I believe. Very nicely done.

Indy is sad because everyone else got something cool. All he got was a rock.

I was thinking that no matter how bad the paint job would be that the underlying sculpt would still be good. But now it looks like the sculpt has shrunk and the hat is ginormous. Maybe by some miracle, it's not as bad as it looks.

I liked the prototype much better. The hat is too big due to it going over the hair. Majorly disappointing. Maybe a good paint job would help. Of course, you'd need to do something about the hat. A year and a couple of months and this is what results. Ugh.
