That annoys me man! Because I requested a new body for my Indy as well because the arm was coming out of the socket and have them pictures with no response for a week and a half. Took me calling them today to get a rep and all they said is I would have to return the whole figure for a new body...

That's the funny thing though.The thing they sent me was just a return request only not an exchange lol. So it seemed like they were unofficially saying "well your not happy with the figure? Give it back then" haha no I know that's not what they were saying but sure felt like it was them trying...

Your lucky they even responded to you Mad Old Lu. What I got was a return confirmation order to send my figure back. I didn't even put in a request for a return, not to mention they didn't contact me personally after I sent 2 emails one with the initial arm problem and a follow up with them...

So did anyone get a response yet from SSC that put in a request for a replacement body because of a bum right arm? Do they normally take a week to respond? Because that's when I put in the request lol. Just seems like a long time without any word at all

Hey Talibane! Based on our last exchange in the custom thread I guess this would somewhat suffice for a comparison lol (assuming the recast is the exact same size as the original 2008 sculpt. Hope this helps somewhat!

Oh yes I see now after googling it. That original sculpt I've seen repainted on the forum here is actually really good. It was the production paint that wasn't great at all. Here is the one I just picked up on eBay still think it's a very nice alternative. Also have the new SS TOD Indy figure...

I keep hearing from people that those heads on eBay are recasts but what head is it a recast of? And what does the original one look like. Because I just got mine yesterday and it looks pretty good in person. I'll try and take a pic of it

Looks great! I just bought the clean version of that same head for my raiders figure. I noticed the head is made of a hard type plastic. Was it easy to pop on the neck peg?

Yeah lol. Well I was trying to balance the figure on my leg while pulling the arm out and taking a picture at the same time. An extra set of hands definitely would have helped and I could've had a more pleasing background to show lol

I'll have to check mine again tonight and see if I hear anything. You might be right about the loose screws but sadly yes looks like you would have to detach the rubber skin from the plastic :/ well I'll wait and see what sideshow says with my replacement inquiry
