It's a bit of a tight fit, but it can be done without removing the boots. You will ruin the figure though. Even on the Jazz one that's a bit bigger, it will ruin the rubber. The HT figure was not made to hold any poses, let alone sit down. Thankfully Jazz is releasing a seating down bats accessory.
