I think that's the part that hurt it the most. I'm not sure why anyone thought it would be like the Toy Story movies. People just didn't understand that it was a sci fi movie that the toy was based on.

Not likely My (probably terrible) idea would be a section of the USS Flagg that could be used as a wall mounted display. I have had dreams about this setup but I am just not sure it is something that would have mass appeal.
