I didn't realize that this movie took place in the mid 90's to be honest...

I really enjoyed it and as much as I despise Ezra Miller as a person, he is really good in this role. The CGI was god awful...like I was watching The Polar Express at times. Absolutely no excuse for that in 2023.

Sitting at 69% critic and 95% audience so far(audience score is admittedly a small sample size.) Seeing it this weekend...will hold of bashing it until I actually see it...crazy concept these days, I know.

I have said this for 15 years, but not making the special forces unit in the first movie a GI Joe unit was the biggest missed opportunity in cinematic history.

Wrapped it up and overall enjoyed the entire series. I thought it would end with Ken getting the company and firing his siblings though, showing his dad that he is the killer that his father didn't think he was. Honestly, Ken was my biggest disappointment as I felt I spent the entire series...

Rotten Tomatoes is a failed metric in my opinion. You do not have to go far to find wide differences in rating between critics and audience. Super Mario was a 59% by critics and most people thought it was wonderful. I take audience score more into consideration, especially for summer movies.

I am intrigued but will not see it in theaters. I fully expect this to be like the horrible experience I had when seeing Mean Girls on Broadway...tons of ***** teenage kids just losing their mind at every joke or anything that directly referenced the movie.
