Makes sense to do that right when they left. Actually, that's what I thought Vice Admiral Holdo was going to do when she first started turning the cruiser around. I like what happened better.

I can see how that bothers some people but it didn't really bother me that much. I rationalize it based on the fact that Darth Vader's (the biggest bad in the galaxy) parents were a slave girl and thin air. At least on one side Anakin's parent literally was no body.

Light speed in recent films (new SW films, new Star Trek films) bothers me. No matter how far apart places are in the galaxy, they are just a few minutes away from each other in light speed.
