Yeah, I also think it's the best Mel Max sculpt out there. I'd settle for the unpainted version as well. I do understand that artists don't wanna paint the same pieces over and over again. It does get boring. But making a few extra bucks 3d printing a sculpt that you've already finished working...

I did reach out to Kit today, thank you for your feedback. Did you send the head or the hair piece back to get the replacement?

That really is a shame... They made a fortune with the Deckard head sculpt. Max really needs that upgrade as well... Maybe some day... I'd love to have the From Russia with Love sculpt. Contacted them a while ago but never got a reply. Not sure if they are still selling their older stuff...

True. Just checked your picture on the last page again. They really look a little too short. Maybe getting rid of the velcro fastener, thus making them a little wider (and sewing them shut) and then pulling them down some more would help...? Pants on those figures usually sit a bit too high...

Clearly the "so so paint" version. But it's still better than the original Dark Toys head. The skin tone alone makes all the difference. In my opinion at least...

Same here. The shoes of the Toys Ace figure look like a huge improvement over the original Dark Toys ones. Those were the cheapest part of the entire figure back then. The belt and holster as well. I also wouldn't mind a better quality badge... Which body did you use? I used a Coo Model narrow...

True but the shirt collar itself looks huge... so I'm not sure if it would be much of an improvement... The material used for the collar of the coat also looks more movie accurate than Dark Toys. But it's too thick... I think $152 is a great price for todays standards. And Asta is right, no...

I think the Dark Toys version looks superior quality wise. The head sculpt looks not as soft as DT but the likeness is off with the TA one. I kinda like the expression here but to me it doesn't look much like Harrison Ford. at all. But here we only have the promo pics. So we won't be able to...

If they really wanted to make a quick buck they should just release a Wesker figure finally. Doesn't even matter which version. It surely would sell well. I really don't understand why no one ever goes for him.... But we get zombies and the minotaur and chainsaw guy... I love all that, don't...
