It’s one area that Sideshow did way better!

I’m just opening my set to find a few QC issues. Firstly, is the gap between the body and the steering vanes supposed to be so big? I remember this being discussed in the Mando bike thread, but can’t remember the outcome. It looks wrong to me, and the steering vanes seem to sort of droop down...

Does anyone know if it would be easy enough to remove the neck piece from the body? I'm wanting to swap it onto another figure and give Jango a black plastic neck.

I'm pumped for this release! I think I prefer this look to the BoBF look, because it retains his connection to his Tusken tribe. However I also like his BoBF look because he's given himself a look more suited to a Daimyo. Is the head sculpt the same as the 2-pack version?

Also, it’s not the button cell batteries that kids would have to fear if they got their hands on my Hot Toys figures - it’s me!! 😂

I wonder if imports to Australia will be affected? Eg can I still buy from Sideshow?

My deposit was refunded. A friend of mine also received the same notice. Makes me wonder if any of the other figures with light up features (that use button batteries) will be affected - and will this only affect Australian customers, or international customers as well?

Looks awesome! I passed on the Mando version in anticipation of this release. I’ll be interested to see a comparison of the bike and figure. The way the fern fronds are packaged made me laugh, as did the presenter’s frequent use of the phrase “proprietary keyholes”.

Some great looking shots! I’m still not in love with the head sculpt… And Hot Toys PLEASE stop using pleather - it degrades too quickly and it rarely looks good. Sculpted plastic looks way better. I’m already looking at this figure and wondering how I’m going to fix those flimsy holster straps...
