Kaustic Plastik / Infinite Statue / SD Toys - 1/6 Universal Monsters

Not buying it for more than a year was one of my hardest decision in this hobby ^^ But I didn't want to only have him without other Universal monsters. So I bought Neca stuff. Neca figures are pretty good, but just not at the right scale^^ But for me it was better than having only one monster in...

Kaustic Plastik / Infinite Statue / SD Toys - 1/6 Universal Monsters

OK I pulled the trigger for Dracula. Now let's wait for 4 years before I can put another universal monster next to him 😅

Kaustic Plastik / Infinite Statue / SD Toys - 1/6 Universal Monsters

I would love "silverscreen editions" with black & white figures, like Sideshow did in the early 2000s. Neca did that also and I think it works great. But it's probably too much to ask. Maybe it wouldn't sell as well.

Kaustic Plastik / Infinite Statue / SD Toys - 1/6 Universal Monsters

It's hard. Phantom and Dracula are both cool looking. The first Mummy movie from 1932 is one of my favorite Universal monsters movie. But I don't really think the monster itself is that interesting visually. He doesn't even look like that most of the time in the movie. I think I would be more...

Kaustic Plastik / Infinite Statue / SD Toys - 1/6 Universal Monsters

I'm afraid of that too. Because of too many figures announced. But they also work in collab with SD Toys. Maybe it will be quicker. Not to the detriment of quality I hope. I still hesitate to buy Bela's Dracula 😅 I don't think I will have the space for more than 3 figures. Frankentstein and...

Kaustic Plastik / Infinite Statue / SD Toys - 1/6 Universal Monsters

I am not really interested in Terence Hill and Bud Spencer either, but I think it's a step in the good direction to make more obscure figures like these. Yes it would be great to have Clint Eastwood, Lee Van Cleef, Eli Wallach figures (better than the Redman ones) Maybe also Henry Fonda and...

Kaustic Plastik / Infinite Statue / SD Toys - 1/6 Universal Monsters

For me it's great. I'm a horror fan, and also an italian western fan. And a Kurosawa fan (Toshiro Mifune is for me) I'm looking for something different from American icons of cinema. There are already tons of them in figure form. It's great to have something else. Old movies, and not only...

Kaustic Plastik / Infinite Statue / SD Toys - 1/6 Universal Monsters

Ok I didn't know the Hammer figures just released. I'm not that interested in them because I made customs with Christopher Lee and Peter Cushing Hot Toys figures. Not really accurate to the Hammer movies because they're older but still...I'm happy with them and it's hard for me to pull the...

Kaustic Plastik / Infinite Statue / SD Toys - 1/6 Universal Monsters

Oops...you're right. Sorry. 14 months for Lee and Cushing ? Do you have them available where you live ? It seems they are still on pre-order. And they were announced in december 2022. Also, the 12 months for Bela is good but it was for only one figure. Not 3. Ok it's still better than Hot...

Kaustic Plastik / Infinite Statue / SD Toys - 1/6 Universal Monsters

Oh that's great news !!! Do we know if these are going to be statues or articulated figures in the same line as Bela Lugosi's Dracula ? Finally a Bride of Frankenstein ! I didn't buy Bela's Dracula because I was afraid it will be the only Universal Monster figure made by Kaustic Plastik. Now...

1/6 Hot Toys- Mighty Thor (Jane Foster)- Thor: Love and Thunder

Is she like that in the movie ? With heavy makeup, glossy red lips and super white skin ? When compared to the Padme head sculpt, the new head looks too color saturated. Also...isn't she a little too bulky ? I know she is supposed to be Thor and I didn't see the movie (because of its reputation...

Wonder Woman 1984 - 1/6th scale Wonder Woman Collectible Figure

Nobody tried to put the sculpted hair on the Golden armor head ? I know it would require some work, probably destroying the WW84 head to detache the hair but...it sounds possible, right ? I might try that if I can find the WW 84 and the GA head separately

Hot Toys Wonder Woman (WB 100)

It doesn't "feel" justified, that's what I mean. For HT it probably just cost them 30$ per figure to make better rooted hair. It's probably more work, and the material is probably more expensive, but they didn't make ONE figure, they made 1500 figures, so they bought a ton of sheeps wool and...

Hot Toys Wonder Woman (WB 100)

No no don't worry I didn't take it the wrong way. It's just the fact that you mentionned "not trying to be rude" that felt like you were kind of unnecessary upset or something 😅 It had the opposite effect because I though "woah is he mad I don't know everything ?" I'm also french so...english is...

Hot Toys Wonder Woman (WB 100)

Ok I get it. Yeah no need to be rude, please 😅 I'm just not well informed of what happened between these companies. I'm not following everything that Hot Toys does. Inart is also a lot more expensive. I guess it's a smaller company so it has to be more expensive because they don't have the...

Hot Toys Wonder Woman (WB 100)

It's better than the first Hot Toys WW like BvS or Justice League for sure. Better than the WB100 or the golden armor ? Not sure... OK I didn't know they were that popular. But still...Inart never made a female figure, right ? Not yet. Where does this competition come from? I'm not sure they...

Hot Toys Wonder Woman (WB 100)

I didn't know they were still making figures from BvS. And the last WW movie is already 4 years old (and nobody liked it), the third movie was cancelled, Gal Gadot will probably never play this role again. I though they wouldn't make WW figures anymore.

Hot Toys Wonder Woman (WB 100)

Is the silicone body really "terrific" ? I'm always afraid of this kind of bodies. I don't trust their longevity. And if we are supposed to keep the figure in a museum pose, it loses the quality of being an action figure instead of a statue. I also considered buying this 1/6 Kotobukiya statue ...

Hot Toys Wonder Woman (WB 100)

Yeah and for some weird reasons, every company (except for Hot Toys) seems to have a hard time making good female figures with good likeness. Inart may be good at rooted hair with great material but...we have yet to see a good female figure from them. I'm not holding my breath. I prefer to think...
