Just finishing off the 2x open door versions, I've made a few changes and really pleased with the look :yess: and got a great idea for behind the door. Then a final coat of grey, detailing, subtle weathering/stains/marks and everything gets a coat of clear matt to seal. As soon as these...

Hi Dave I opted for the Anycubic Mono X, I really wanted the Elegoo Saturn but they're having supply issues so this will be my 3rd Anycubic machine as the build quality and support is pretty spot on.

I'll be 3D printing the prototype screen, then clean, fill & fine sanding, ready for rubber moulding and casting in clear resin, the shape of the screen should allow me to make seamless casts for easy removal. I may need to pressure cast if there are any bubbles but that's a fairly simple process.

Ok after many hours of masking here is the very first Landspeeder with some colour on. A bit of touching up hear and there then some damage and weathering to tone the pink down a little but happy with that.

Think I may have over done it on the masking tape :lol Have a guess what I'll be doing this weekend? I'm hoping to have the prototype bodywork stripes (sandy/pinky colour) on this weekend just leaving me to add damage and weathering, display base and screen. Almost there :yess: Jas

For very fine and bendy stuff I've mainly used Tamiya but giving Modelcraft Precision 2mm a go on this build....fingers crossed Jas

I have a number of future Indy builds lined up and once I get the Star Wars builds finished & shipped (& a serious Batman commission) I'll focus a lot more time on Indy :yess:

Already gave that a try bud, 150mm baubles were almost there, just the shaped wings (by Lukes arm) wouldn't sit right. A real shame on to plan B,C,D,E,F,G....:gah:
