Unfortunately I had to dismantle the prototype as the first moulds I did weren't good enough to cast the numbers needed so had them professionally remade by Articole Studios. The first two casts will be the first to get painted.

Finally got the first two casts and being really pleased is an under statement :yess: A little bit of flashing to clean up, which is expected and these are surprisingly solid for a hollow cast. The guys over at Articole Studios have done a great job :clap and will be using them more often...

Cheers buddy (responded to your PM about Jabba) It was a great 3d model from Rusty J to start with and has turned out better than I imagined. The 1/6 is currently on the bench (along with a couple of other customer builds) I am changing a few little details on the final production pieces :wink1:

I have given everything a quick once over and is now with Pete for the weathering and stains etc. I need to make a few improvements here and there for the final 1/6 build But overall I really pleased with the look and lighting, think i'll add just a little more detail to the circular...

First few are cast and ready for collection

I can’t believe it…….the wait is finally over, first two speeders are cast and fresh out of the mould (will post images later when I get home) As soon as I get them on the bench I’ll get them together and over to Pete It’s just a matter of building and finishing then finalising a screen accurate...

First two are with Pete, and another 4 should be ready this weekend. I think Pete is jumping on this thread to talk about all things paint related

I've given it the base white but handed it over to Pete for the detailing and weathering, I've got a few things on the bench at the min so will look at getting the 1/6th together very soon.

I settled up before Christmas but was something like 70 on the list so not in any mad rush. Looking at the in hand figures I may get the heads repainted by Pete the Paint. I've not finished the steps diorama yet so don't mind waiting.

First two will be with Pete today and managed to get another 4 together over the weekend between other stuff. Anyone got any decent reference images to help Pete out with the paint job?
