finally, photos of the finished product are showing up online.. not my photo, since I haven't got the bust yet. But the paintjob looks like crap. And Neca decided to add the shadows to the paint. So, painted shadows on this thing....

looks like that arc reactor is the same as the one that came with the original Mark II...

picked up an Apocalypse today. I love the statue. there's just one issue, he suffers from the quite common loose elbow syndrome. I'm a bit afraid that it might fall out of the socket if I accidentally bump into his besta. But besides that, I'm very pleased with him.

don't forget that about 7" of this is probably the flowerpot

If you did see a difference, then they would be doing a bad job, since you can see the difference. Since you can't, diecast isn't necessary. But people don't want to hear that for a figure they paid a lot more for than for a completely plastic figure.

ah, that's yours? Nice! I had seen the images a while back when I wat looking for reviews on the set itself. I love what you did with the sign too. But I know I had to do something Starwarsy with it when I first saw the original set.

I doubt Hot Toys will make the same mistake as Sideshow did and make these very limited. They're the footsoldiers after all. People want more than just one (or two).

I recently bought the Lego Palace Cinema modular building, and of course I had to modify it to a Star Wars showing. It's not the most original idea, but that wasn't my goal anyway. A Millennium Falcon above the entrance and an X-Wing on the wall, so it's obvious that there's a Star Wars...

I picked up this beauty yesterday, after FedEx tried to deliver it earlier this week when I wasn't home. And my gods, this statue is excellent. I wasn't too keen on the black version, even though that's her normal outfit, but in white she's absolutely stunning.

good tip. right now we're seeing quite a few people who receive it, say they love it, and a week later put it on sale for a rediculous price.

I just cancelled my preorder for the exclusive, since I'm out of the 1/6 scale Star Wars figures anyway. And with the high shippingcosts and high dollar-euro conversionrate, it would have been a very expensive figure that I didn't really need to have anymore. So I hope some other freak here...
