And, unless there's really something to say, most of this could be done without talking. Also trim/clean your fingernails. Or wear gloves. Don't be nasty.

An ideal review - for me - would have three parts: 1) A relatively quick unboxing (I know it's important for some, but I honestly, really, really don't care what the box looks like) to show me what to expect when the figure arrives. Just give me a rundown of the condition of the figure and a...

Some interesting details about their plans and licenses in the US in this video. (I'm guessing they couldn't bring their LOTR figures to SDCC because they're Asia-only license.) But it looks like Walking Dead, Bruce Lee and Dune are global?

I'm hoping they get the costume right. Obviously they need to say no to the hood seam, but I'm also hoping they nail the layering, hang and weathering. Fabric choice is key. But I'd also love to see some of the super subtle details, like the fancy embroidery along the edges of the frayed...

When things get crazy, sometimes I feel like I need to get a hobby to take my mind off my hobby.

    Hello from Onesixthkit

Here's a bit of a random question ... is there any way I could just buy a new right staff-gripping hand for my IA Gandalf? I don't want to put anyone through any trouble with complaints or returns, but the one on my figure just kind of sucks and falls out at the slightest touch. I'd be very...

I think those were the original four, right? Gandalf, Aragorn, Legolas and the Wraith? That's why I was surprised when they showed their Thorin. Wasn't expecting him. At least not that soon. "Soon" being a relative term with IA.

Uh-oh. Did we all accidentally join a cult?

Kit's server must have been overheating and smoking that day.

Gorgeous. It especially captures Viggo when his head is angled down and his eyes are angled up.

Phenomenal posing/futzing! Bravo! This figure is so next level for me. Partly because the likeness is so fantastic but I think also because it's a character that nobody else has managed to capture after 20 years of trying.

Gorgeous. Terrific posing/futzing. Did you have any issues with the wrist connections?

Especially with somebody like Aragorn. He doesn't have the big, broad-shouldered, muscled-up hero physique. He's lean and rangy and they've done a very nice job with him here.

I'm betting the "zombie hands" thing is just because they've given his standard hands a wash with black to simulate both dirt and orc blood. Dude's hands were NEVER clean. Even in Rivendell his fingernails were a mess!

If you'd told me - even five years ago - that a likeness this good was possible, I'm not sure I would have believed you.

These are great poses. Viggo has that lean, almost snake-like, rockstar posture that all comes from relaxing the shoulders and angling the pelvis a little. That's what I'm keen to try to mimic when posing the figure.

The bases are really nice, but as others have said, they're a tad crowded. Also, they're a little bulky for my display cabinets. But they're really nice. I'm glad IA is doing this. Dios are always welcome! I picked up the Gandalf sittin' rock and like that one very much, too.

Not to be hyperbolic, but this one feels different. Better than just figure of the year. It's entirely possible I'm just basking in the warm glow of anticipation, but this one feels like the Hot Toys Bank Robber Joker to me. Such a big jump. I'll be very curious to see if this is isolated or...
