Definitely a shame about the gold on Fenrir, it's much flatter and more saturated than the proto. Sticks out more against everything else being so good.

I have purchased exactly one thing from CS, which I did in fact get, but I had to nudge them via email to get them to actually ship it. Worth noting it was an in-stock item and not a pre-order, too. Makes sense given that they're very likely a drop shipment service.

Yeah the Animegami collapse is a pretty bad one. Lots of folks on payment plans with Partial.ly who've ended up out of pocket, some have been refunded but many haven't. Hope you can get your monies sorted out @GROND29 .

Yeah I checked mines which is at Processed but again, it's been mostly paid off. Kit usually posts on FB when he receives stock and there's been nothing for Cloud yet.

Yeah, I remember the press for FFXIII being that the combat system was designed to look like an action sequence from AC, and you can make a very strong argument that XV and XVI are both still in that mindset. If you ask me though, the only one that's successfully captured AC's style whilst...

Looks like September was right for Cloud then, assuming folks start getting invoiced within the next week or two. Funnily enough that also puts it in the right month for the 20th anniversary of Advent Children being revealed at TGS 2003. Great memories of downloading a HQ version of this...

They were working on a Vincent prototype last year, but not much has been said about it in quite a while. I wonder if they're waiting to see how he looks in Rebirth before working any further, since they seem pretty dedicated to game/media accuracy.

I feel bad for laughing at that since the Remake sculpt is still good. The jump in quality from that to the AC sculpt is completely undeniable though, it's gone from "that's a pretty good Cloud" to "this is probably the best physical representation of Cloud that has ever been available".

The review is now up on YT in 4K60. The set of course looks even better in higher resolution.

You know what's weird, obviously I'm ecstatic about how AC Cloud has turned out, but the one thing I can't stop thinking about is the handle on Fenrir's art box. It's a small but thoughtful thing to include, I think we're all aware of how annoying it can be to remove large and awkward art boxes...

Agreed. GT are out here putting damn near everyone except InArt to shame.

The goggles, second head, alternate version of the red-handled Fusion Sword and handlebar hands are all exclusive to the Cloud & Fenrir set. If you buy either Cloud and Fenrir on their own, you don't get any of those.
