You can tell when a figure is properly good when owners are taking photos as nice as these. All of the in-hand photos posted in here are WAY better than the review unit blogger photos, and those were already good.

I would be very hard pushed to call those unsightly or ugly if I'm brutally honest, but yeah you could probably ask for a replacement head.

Give him a pear accessory and you have my money.

I don't like their Cloud at all but I'm a firm believer their Tifa is the best available overall. Proportions, detailing and posing all spot-on, there are a few better head sculpts out there but not so much better that I'd personally feel pushed towards buying them over FanArt's.

I get the feeling GT kind of see bespoke seamless bodies as their thing to lord over other third parties with. Whether or not that's a good thing, we won't know until if the silicone starts deteriorating on AC Cloud.

Patiently waiting for my Tifa invoice. Not sure how I feel about rooted hair on Sephiroth, need to see the finished proto - not that I'll be getting it, I have Solar's on order.

Gundamit may have issues with packaging (at least with this set) but they are otherwise highly reliable and will sort you out one way or another; it's a simple and unfortunate case of the first batch of these things being very small. Look at Kit's percentages on the spread of orders a few pages...

Have to say, it was very gracious of Kit to let us know that, considering he's seemingly now getting hassle off InArt Gandalf customers asking when the next batch of those is coming in.

This could potentially be down to when certain scenes were rendered during production. A short in-progress cut of the film was shown at the 2004 Venice Film Festival which included the Forgotten City sequence, so it's entirely possible those scenes were rendered out and considered done before...

You kinda-sorta can if you can find their extra body & clothes set for Light still on sale anywhere, but it seems to be sold out in most places. A standalone body like they did for Sephiroth and Ichigo would be ideal though, agreed. Glad to see most folks getting their sets largely intact and...

Great review @BrooklynWolf X , well put together and some fantastic poses.

Going in hard on a Friday.

The paintwork on the main head sculpt is fabulous, I don't think I've seen anything close to a wonky one.

The price is far too good to be true and that's what sets off alarm bells. The closest point of comparison is JND, who charge ~$1300 per statue for their level of craftsmanship and they don't even have to take fully articulated silicone bodies into account.

It's weird, Tifa has always been my favourite and she's great in 7R, but I actually preferred Aeris over her in the latter. I never much cared for her in OG or the Compilation stuff but it seems like they took great pains to make her significantly more likeable in Remake, which imo worked very well.

You can have all the silicon, rooted hair and mixed media in the world but it doesn't matter a jot if it doesn't look like the character.

Cheers for the info Kit. You expecting another 20% in the next batch or is it a case of finding out when it arrives?

Did their Yuna ever come out? I think it was meant to be Q1 2023 but I haven't seen any in-hand photos.

I got all of my PAKs from Amazon Japan, since they get stock pretty quickly and deal with import tax for you (you still pay for it, but bundled into shipping costs). The JPY FX rate is pretty favourable these days too, so they might be worth a shout.

For those with sets already, what type of battery does Fenrir take? I'm working on the assumption it's the same type as the Hardy but no reviews I've watched seem to confirm that.
