That JND "sellout" is just to create panic buying elsewhere. Most of their previous releases that sold out fast at JND direct were available months after at retailers. I am torn on this one also. It does not look quite good enough for the money, but then neither did their Catwoman in the pics...

Yes, Cinemaquette ship prices are always high. I was considering ordering also, but decided to pass for now. I already have so many other rex pieces I probably should sell one or two as it is. I did get an amber mosquito and the bronze rex skeleton though.

A hook tool or two and try to pull it straight back out the front was what I would try. I was also thinking that aiming a heat gun in the socket and prying the eye over might have worked also.

Sideshow will not have any, that was far too long ago. You could have one made, that is probably your only option at this point. I would guess a previous owner sold the EX hand to make some money back as they didn't plan to use or it got broken and they just tossed it.

Yes, P1 orders come direct, but there are quite a few retailers here in the states that carry P1 also.

Where did you order him from? There are no customs fees on it from Weta. Weta ships from their US warehouse for US preorders so it does not actually ship from overseas.

P1 pieces are quite big which can be hard to display as you say, so if you don't have the room that makes your decision a bit easier. P1 does already have 3/4 of your list and will surely do a 1/4 Gandalf(and if not the Sideshow 1/4 is always an option). Their Balrog is pretty great too.

I would say it mostly depends on the rest of your collection. Do you have other 1/6 or 1/4? Both pieces have pros/cons, but I would say scale is probably the easiest deciding factor.

I feel the opposite. I think a few different ones will really complement each other on display. I would be down for quite a few others depending on what they do. If you don't like the multiple ship look don't buy more than one and everyone can be happy

I thought the same thing when I saw it, hopefully it does not look bad in person. The Spitter benefits from the base obscuring that same pose issue, so it isn't that bad in hand.

Repaint variants are at least "different" enough IMO, rereleasing the same statue with only a base change is much worse (not even counting the sleazy act of hanging people out to dry with damaged pieces.)
