    Hot Toys MMS 692 + 693 BATMAN (1989) 1/6 scale Batman 2.0

I'm struggling to keep my order, even though I just got the waitlist conversion. I REALLY want the base, but then again I only keep my figures in Detolfs, and the base won't fit in there. I'm really tempted to just upgrade my DX09 with a new cape, and body swap. Urgh...

    Hot Toys MMS 692 + 693 BATMAN (1989) 1/6 scale Batman 2.0

2.0 has the same issue. The 89 cowl is pretty bulky, so the edges should appear thicker, and Keaton's eyes and mouth should be more recessed.

    Hot Toys MMS 692 + 693 BATMAN (1989) 1/6 scale Batman 2.0

I wish I could remember where I saw it, but a few years back someone did cut up the DX09 suit and attach the pieces to a body suit. Possibly in the DX09 thread here?

    Hot Toys MMS 692 + 693 BATMAN (1989) 1/6 scale Batman 2.0

Does it seems like the body for 2.0 would fit inside the DX09 suit? I've read 2.0 is a thicker boy.

Jazzinc Dioramas 1/6 Ultimate Catwoman (Batman Returns, 1992)

Are these all meant for the BD version?

Though a bit ill fitting, seeing this DX09 face plate on 2.0 makes it clear that the new mouth plates are indeed hurting the likeness to Keaton. Hopefully someone out there will mod the originals to fit 2.0, and offer to sell them, painted. Maybe whoever made those Doc Brown heads for Kit?

    Hot Toys MMS 692 + 693 BATMAN (1989) 1/6 scale Batman 2.0

In a world where DX09 never existed, 2.0 is a flawless representation of 1/6 '89 Batman. If we had nothing else in 1/6 scale to compare it to, I think most everyone would be beyond 100% satisfied. But there's just something about that DX09 head sculpt, flaws and all, that captures the...

Hot Toys DX09 - BATMAN - Batman (Michael Keaton) - Specs & Pics

There's a guy on Youtube who did. If you're going to to a body swap, get one with strong/ratcheted joints!

Will this new diorama fit inside a detolf?

My deluxe waitlist just converted, and... I ordered it. Why?? The FOMO is strong in this one *points at self*

Wonder how long it'll be until someone comes out with a set of replacement mouth plates?

    Hot Toys MMS 692 + 693 BATMAN (1989) 1/6 scale Batman 2.0

Seems like the mouth plates are the biggest issue with the likeness. Wonder how long before someone creates custom plates? Very nice! Is that a custom mouth plate on the 2.0 head, or is the whole thing custom?

    Hot Toys MMS 692 + 693 BATMAN (1989) 1/6 scale Batman 2.0

How difficult would it be to replace the body inside DX09? I'm torn between just keeping DX09 and making some updates, or picking up 2.0, and somehow bashing them both into one ultimate 89 Bats.

Is it a fully rubber suit this time, or is it rubber pieces attached to spandex, like the film?

Waiting to see if they release the returns figure with the torn lower half of the cowl, with Keaton head. Won't list Returns my two-pack until I know for certain.

    Hot Toys MMS 692 + 693 BATMAN (1989) 1/6 scale Batman 2.0

My DX09 has never cracked or become tacky, and I've never treated the suit with any products, other than wiping it down with a damp cloth every few years. I guess a big part of it depends on climate?

Looks beautiful, and I love that it seems to do more than a museum pose this time, but am I crazy or did the likeness take a big hit since DX09?
