I prefer the head sculpt on the inart aragorn, they’ve captured the cleft better.

I got him at end of October, waited longer than usual. Looks like there’s a premium on this figure going on HK reseller prices. And Crosshair seems with a very big premium these days.

I feel the same way. I’m more impressed with several recent HT headsculpts. The Inart rooted hair is their only selling point to me, and HT may even match that with their artisan line. And the rooted hair cost is only worth it on long haired characters I feel. Inart overrated and overpriced. And...

These Inart prices are now a joke, the sheer audacity of it. The Asmus Nazgul is significantly cheaper and I doubt it's that much inferior. I'd trust the Asmus QC over Inart anyway. Who in their right mind would pay 400 US for a dark body inside a big black gown?

Inart are extracting the Michael now with these prices. I still haven't been able to get the Gandalf head sculpt out of the jar thing. Some style, little substance. At these prices the product and QC need to be spot-on, 'nuff said. No thanks, don't need the stress of getting ripped off and then...

Think it’s telling that nobody has posted pics of their sculpted version yet, will be because it looks nowhere near as good as the rooted. I’m certainly giving myself a big pat on the back for getting the rooted.

I paid $140 USD brand new for the PT one. $286 for the new HT one, I dunno. The base on this new one does look good.

This figure is still sitting on the shelf at Echo Base HK for 1730 HKD. If getting it means a lot to someone I could send it for that price plus the shipping, assuming it’s still there tomorrow. Not sure how we’d work around payment/trust. Didn’t ask how many they have but that’s been a few days...
