Ok, so looking at mine up close I see the differences. One set is more relaxed, one set has the fingers spread open, and one set has the fingers spread open with the fingers fused together down by the tips. I'm guessing Medicom must have saw these hand positions somewhere but the differences are...

There is a second head with a removable jaw so you can swap out the extended teeth (3 sets). It comes with a second jaw so you can pose the figure with the mouth open as well.

Medicom Darth Vader 2.0 also had the battery saber and it was good, nice and bright. Why Hot Toys over complicated things is anyone's guess.
