Yeah, if I had known it was going to turn out looking like this I would have ordered one (and Data). Still, live and learn. Probably still for the best as I want to try to stick to just one version of each character for the most part. Other than TOS.

Okay, as someone who has never been that taken with this one based on all previous pics of this sculpt, I have to admit, I was wrong. That's a pretty damn good pissed off Picard.

While it may all be smoke and mirrors on the public face/surface level to us, I can tell you the major HK retailers know exactly who they are dealing with at pretty much all times, as far as the behind the scenes business goes of money and product changing hands. It would be a brave (or stupid)...

Other than the hat (and almost nobody gets 1/6 hats right), this looks to have turned out really well.

Yep. They mention it all the time in interviews and on talking dead and stuff, so I guess I'm used to hearing it at this point. Not sure if it has ever actually been said on the show, to be honest. Maybe during the video interviews when they first got to Alexandria? I think for the most part...

I'm glad I'm not really feeling that FC Picard sculpt, made passing on the FC figures easier for me, despite how good Data turned out. Happy for those that dig it, though. I was going to pass with the fast sell outs and planned speed of releases, maybe just grab some core DS9 and TNG figures if...

I far prefer the other one in pretty much every regard, but yeah, actual leather is a big selling point here, and hard to dismiss. Quick, somebody convince Premier to do their version in leather as well... :lol

But of course... :lol

If this turns out well it will be a great base for a custom Max, and about damn time too. I'll be taking the risk on this one.

Also if you think sell outs are a pain now, just wait until the scalper side of the hobby notices and jumps on board, too... :horror
