Maybe if the characters weren't just lazy ciphers, the social commentary wasn't so ham-fisted, the actors were actually capable of adding some depth to their characters so that I actually cared about any of them, every episode wasn't just a blatant rip off of a better episode from another show...

Personally I find The Orville practically unwatchable, regardless of how much stunt casting they do. The scripts are like something even Voyager would have thrown out, utterly generic, really dull and obvious comedy, lazy rehashed sci-fi ideas really poorly implemented and rarely thought...

I'm not a big fan of the First Contact look, couldn't care less about the Borg Queen statue, already have a lonely solo Picard on the shelf, with no interest in doubling down with another one with no clear promise of even an away team sized display of TNG characters to go with him, and am not...

I must be the only one not wowed by the packaging (it's fine, there's nothing wrong with it, but I'm not overly impressed by it in any way), but then, I was never much of a fan of the steelbook design either, so that probably has a lot to do with it. Really hanging out for the figure itself...

Wish the likeness on the head sculpt was better, but even so this is a must have for me. And I can always mask him up. Don't see much point in going deluxe on this one personally, though. Not a fan of that base at all, and I can live without the banner.

So far still glad I went with the Lim version overall, but there's still some nice aspects to this version, even though I'm not too keen on the sculpts. Tempted to grab one for parts all the same.

Not very taken with the sculpt, actively dislike some of the tailoring on the uniform. It's good to have Trek back, but this isn't one isn't for me.

As I've said before, if I wanted to go wide and appeal to as many fans as possible all at once, I'd be kicking off my plans with all the Captains first, at least for TOS, TNG, DS9, Voyager and Enterprise (best choice for the new era shows like Discovery and Picard is a harder call imo...also...

I'd be highly surprised if there wasn't a signature edition, but then I was surprised by K-9 not having one too, so who knows at this point.

I hope it isn't TNG movie figures, personally, for variety's sake. I'd rather DS9 have those uniforms, and TNG stick to their series look. But I'd be very surprised to see them launch with DS9...unless the plan is to do each of the Captains first. We'll see, I guess.
